i love this 2690. i use 2690 to play games (street soccer & pro evolution soccer are my favorite), watch movie clips (which nobody can see with family), listen songs (awesome), internet (Opera is as fast as light).
i may be the happiest person if 2690 had battery with talktime of about 8 hours or more.

If it doesn't help, google for it's modem driver.
