..i am a user of this nokia 2690..base on my experience this phone is strong and it doesnt hang or lag..it work just fine..the surface of the screen is good and hard..
..the good things for this mobile:
*music is just fine,decent loudness and decent quality,loud enough to hear incoming calls or text messages..or if you're in the road of course then just put a vibration for you to feel if there are calls or messages coming..=)
..600kb for sending multi media file..
..for calling voice quality is just fine..
..this phone is strong..i've accidentaly drop this before but still works fine..
..now for the things i dont like about this phone:
..the keypad is just hard mostly when im playing games and using the navi keys my thumbs hurt due to its hard keypad..(if the keypad were just soft,comfortable enough to use then it would have been better)
..for gaming the screen is just too small,limited good games can be played for this phone(of course it depends upon the game if it has good gameplay then if it is compatible for this mobile screen 128x160)
..the camera is not so clear when photo is taken at dark places or surroundings,but when you take a shot at bright places then you will get just the fine quality(do not expect a very good quality photo for this phone because it has only VGA cam,instead just buy other phone with 2mp or else dont buy this phone if you just want to take a photo)
..the bluetooth of this phone sometimes doesnt work well,when i am going to transfer a file via bluetooth it get stuck so you have to cancel or turn it off and switch again then you can transfer a file..
..upon fully charge about 3hrs of charging,i can use this phone for just 1day for continuous texting..for net browsing i can get 3-4hrs..the gprs turns off and it will just connect there is a need to(example as of now i am writing this comment using this n2690 via opera mini so the gprs isnt active then battery consumption is not high,so if im done writing then it comes to posting then that will be the time that gprs is going to be connected)
..and for the internet speed for this phone DONT EXPECT IT IS A HIGH SPEEDY ONE COZ ITS ONLY A S40 PHONE..the speed is 5-10kbps per sec,it is s40 so its kinda slow for downloading,but for browsing then it would be just fine..
..if you want fast internet and downloading then just buy a 3g/s60 phone..
..over all its just a fine phone for me..
..so if you intend to buy this phone you should atleast read the spec of this phone for you to know what you will get..reading it is better than for you to have this and regret just BECAUSE YOU DID NOT READ AND YOU DONT KNOW HOW IT IS..
..if this phone has soft keypad and atleast a 2inches screen then it would have been better for a s40 type of of phone..
..i hope my post helped some people out there who wanted to know about this phone..

Nokia 2690 phone is well and it's come with low price. His keypad is hard but well. This phone has large memory capicity. Picture quality and s q are both not very good this phone are like because net facility is good. Battery bacup are poor.

This phone is best for hearing mp3...you can also see mp4,3gp videos..but the only problem is that it's screen is small,so u can't play higher quality game here...so i are'nt pleased..

very poor battery backup.....software complaint......sometimes bluetooth is not working properly....worst phone.....better try some other like x2-01...
