I paid £50 for this phone as a replacement for my 6300, being as I thought quite similar to my previous phone. The speaker is clear, the screen is sharp and the camera is okay. Build quality is reasonable, not as robust as the 6300 but that phone had a steel case and was double the price. No problem with either my old sim or old 2 gig memory card, the phone was bundled with a 1 gig memory card.
The software is typical Nokia being well featured and navigating the menus is easy enough. There's a couple of funky themes and happily you get three full games among the useless demos. Browsing with my network was okay.
The Maps app works but at first you may not think so. The app starts by downloading large scale low res rubbish but given time it will get smaller and smaller scale maps finally arriving at something useable, patience required.
The radio works okay and you get a pair of phone plugs with a station selector switch, of course the phone has a regular jack but I haven't yet tried it with another headset.
I didn't feel that texting was any different to the 6300 and talking on the phone is okay too.
I think that the 2730 is a good budget phone.

I have 2700c and the appl i downloaded works without probs.come rain come shine nokia phones are always the best.

low build quality, very hard keys which are difficult to type. My mom uses this phone and she hates it, don't buy, get a C5 instead.

its a very nice and awsum phone.there is no problem of internet..i hve used this set ..its awsum and its keypad is v.nice...so buy ths set and enjy ur lyf..
