So is this phone available in the US yet? I've been pretty much waiting for a budget phone with stereo speakers and a headphone jack for a year, and there still hasn't been any news about it. I'm reluctant to buy it off Flipkart or whatever.

    The Nokia 2.1 is a good phone. I get so angry when I see s on e just talking nonsense about this phone. It seems some that are complaining bought a refurbished Nokia 2.1. As for the Nokia 2.1 am using here, it is good. I play games with it ; real steal game, NITRO NATION 6, FC:WW2, War games etc. So what are you guys saying. The camera is okay a well but not that bad. The battery last for like a day ad half for a heavy user. The calling reception is so clear, even in a noisy place yiu can see hear someone you are speaking with on phone. What else do you want on a budget phone with such a quality?

      According to some recent rumors, Nokia 2.1's successor is suppose to to make its debut next month ( possibly at the MWC). Hopefully, it will arrive with following improvements-

      1.A Brighter and more powerful display with great color reproduction.
      2.More Powerful Speakers.
      3.More Powerful Battery life.
      4.More powerful camera.
      5.Overall size of the phone should be noticeably smaller with very small bezels.

      Now, Nokia 2.1 successors may not came with all of these improvements, but lets hope for the best. and beside Nokia 2.1 was better than Nokia 2 in a lot f aspects, Now, Nokia will be forced to make improvements in their upcoming budget class smartphones, if they plan to beat those Chinese smartphone manufactures.

Nokia 1 and Nokia 8110 4g are two of the worst sounding phones I've heard in my life.Nokia 2.1 is bit different in this regard.Even though its quality is not going to blow you away like Galaxy S9 or the iphone Xs but its still very good.And I've done side by side speaker comparison of S9, razer phone 2 with the nokia 2.1, and surprisingly it held its own against those two very well.given that those two are equipped with Dolby atmos softwares which gives a huge boost in terms of sound quality.So the difference between s9 and 2.1 isn't that big unlike what the reviewers tell you.So any normal music fan should be satisfied with how nokia 2.1 sounds.And guys don't let yourself be fooled by reading those reviews spread all over internet where reviewers claim Nokia 2.1sounds tinny, bad and not loud enough etc.

            I just bought two Nokia 2.1 smartphones for my parents and man it exceeded my expectations the call quality is crystal clear and the stereo loudspeakers are surprisingly louder and clearer than my Nokia 7 plus lol and the best of all the screen quality is great and it can play videos with 1080p resolution at 60 FPS just amazing and good battery, what more would you want at this price? Good job Nokia.

And in terms of performance, both are same.Only plus point of Huawei y5 prime over Nokia 2.1 is that, it has slightly better display and more fashionable looks, that if looks matters to you.,Though Nokia 2.1 is still very attractive in its own right.But if you really want to upgrade then you should wait for newer versions of Y5 and Nokia 2.1, that are rumored to be release next month.Good luck.

Otherwise both phone are same.Though Y5 is far more attractive in terms of the looks.Also it has superior camera. So my suggestion is go for Y5.

                                    I bought this phone yesterday, so far so good for now, you have to take its specs into consideration, for the normal browsing..whatsapp.. it is fine. My only problem is that it appears the screen is not as responsive as my old HTC one M8
