How is this phone compared to samsung's J2 Core? I'm also up for other recommendations aside from the two.

Remember camera happy people: you're never going to get a good camera on a budget phone. Of you want a decent camera you are going to have to more money I'm afraid? Can't afford it? Save up,l! It will be worth it in the end.

The only advantage the nokia 2.1 has is that it has many network bands and the display is simple eitherwise the camera sucks both in low light and good lighting
The battery management closes apps once you turn off the screen
The s/w update has bugs..... Like the wallpaper started changing back to the default ugly green skylights....

I bought this phone 2 days ago.This is good phone this price range.But when I switch on mobile data battery dain past. Good camera.Phone body has nice design.l give 4/5 star.Sorry for bad English.

Interesting to note that the Nokia 1 has been a lot more popular and successful than the Nokia 2.1. I would imagine the lack of a fingerprint reader, lack of usb c and a few other key things is the reason for this. The only main reason to get the 2.1 over the Nokia 1 is the bigger screen, dual stereo speakers and better camera. And remember, the Nokia 1 will also get the Pie update as the Nokia 2.1. But each to their own :). ;)
