Had this phone for few months now , bought immediately when launched and still using daily. Here is my review:
Nokia did not skimp on essentials with this phone : The call quality is very good and holds a signal well , screen is readable in sunlight ,it has a gyroscope and a compass , dual band WiFi and even NFC !, gorilla glass, took a couple of drops well, supports OTG and micro SD, does not look or feel cheap (although in my opinion not very pretty either),and speaker is reasonably loud. Nokia did not want you to feel left out because you bought an inexpensive device , it shows.
However where they cut corners a bit too much is in the processor department , the cheapest new mediatek processor, and it shows as well , they just went too far . The phone kinda feels nimble and smooth in the interface and when opening/switching between a couple of basic apps like gmail or dropbox and simple games . It can also hold quite a handful of those in memory without reloading . BUT , it quickly hits a performance wall when pushed with bigger apps , games with some complex graphics , and when split-screen-multitasking non-trivial apps it can become sluggish and annoying, and ever hunting for breath and pausing for a moment or two often, also struggles when casting screen to chromecast , like 3fps or something.
Not only performance but battery life will suffer if you try to do too much on it . Full day of battery is manageable if you're light but push it and you will be charging before the day ends.
So If your day consists of a bit of browsing , youtube, reading emails ,infrequent google maps , reading a PDF or editing an excel sheet, skype and whatsapp ,other light apps and simpe small games you will sail smoothly for the most part and won't complain much , anything else and you will.
Performance did improve a little with the 7.1.1 update , i hope this continues with 8.0 , but you just can't get around the mediocre SoC, the muscle is just not there. Nokia really messed up to save few bucks, there is even a slightly better version of the same processor but they stuck with the lowest end one .The competition is offering better SoCs in this price segment nowadays..
Camera is bad at night , and just fine in daylight.
So should you buy this phone ? Well, It comes down to price and your performance requirements. It is weak for the power user no doubt , but still a well rounded devices for someone who cares about things such as compass for foot or bicycle navigation, NFC for payments , and only wants to run their simple daily apps such as emailing , reading the news or watching youtube , that sort of thing.. At least it has stock android and security updates and that is a good thing.

Phone black screen. Cannot switch ON. Cannot charge. Frustrated left it alone. After 3 days (coz not free to send to service center) try lady luck. Presto it's alive. Used now 3 months. Battery normal use good. For games fast drain. Generally no other complaints. Would probably buy Nokia for the price.

Just bought Nokia 3
Very good for its price
Smooth and speed is good
The camera do what I need
I'm pushing it by Avery thing to know how much the battery will survive
& The best thing is that it will upgrade to Oreo

I am using right now Nokia 3
phone is so smooth
only one disadvantage that is obviously battery that I can't bear my phone is 10 days old and I am ready to sold it

Nokia 3 a great piece of kit at a great price, purchased one in Aus and spent 3 months touring Europe with no issues, using gMaps regularly. Have 61 apps installed, all run fast. Moved apps (where possible), storage, downloads and photos to 64gb micro-sd. Better camera and battery on Nokia5 I noticed but for the price the 3 is excellent value.

nokia 3 is a total mess and fraud better nokia lumia, it takes only 2hrs with charge , when u charge it reaches 67% this is a complete mistake i regrate why i bought this better techno whoever with a plan to buy this this go for lunch no phone there but a fake brand

This mobile is very good and cheapest range and there is no problem in mobile if any want to buy the Nokia 3 can buy this mobile is very good

Those who have problems with this I think they got a Chinese duplicate as mine works flawless and camera can click pictures even in low light!

After all its not a nokia,but hmd!!
Why to buy this phone if you need to charge twice a day for 3/4 hours of facebook and messenger?
I feel regret for buying this!
And camera?
Its total waste of money,,
Samsung phones 5 megapixel is better than this!!

Whoever is trolling about Nokia pls leave.I just bought the Nokia 3 and let me tell you there was no problem whatsoever.Nokia is an old company pioneers in mobile technology,nokia 3 itself is so good,very smooth,fluidic,no hanging no nothing,internet is fast,i can watch you tube videos without buffering,stock Android,this phone is something different,simple yet lethal.
