Although the 301 screen has better specs, the 206 screen does not look any inferior. An even stranger thing is that 301 has 3.2 MP camera, but the images it produces are not as clear as those produced by 206, whose camera has only 1.3 million pixels. I've tested the two cameras several times under the same condition: same object, same distance, same light, same angle. The result has always been this way. So far, there are only two advantages of 301 over 206: that 301 has more internal memory, and that 301 can play some video files that 206 cannot. Apart from the two advantages, 301 can never beat 206 in overall performance.

nokia 301 users please tell in detail about the battery life,sound quality and perfomance.is it similar to n206 in sound? nokia 206 sound is not much audible besides battery performance is not up to the mark.please help me to choose better one.

Thanks. But i also saw your post in nokia 206. You have both phones? Which is better in overall performance? And how about the colors in screen? Because n206 has only 65k colors and n301 has 256k colors, do they differ much?

Does anyone know how to share my 301's internet connection with my tablet PC? My tablet PC has WIFI, and I want to connect it to the internet using 301's internet connections. Can this be done? How do I set this up in 301?

Its again the brand nokia. Nice,stylish, easy features. If you are thinking of a good & simple phone this is the one. Fantastic battery support.

First thing, I certainly wish if GSM arena could include "Whatsapp" in specification. Every now and then someone has this question. Worst is, few not even try to go through the comments to clarify there issues.
Second, when raising a question, please provide atleast the software version. Like, for example the Battery life issue. Nokia, released a software update recently, so now the question is if still any issue in phone w.r.t update. It's sounds more logical than asking or saying "my phone has battery problem, someone help". Please add your software version at-least and raise bug with Nokia on Nokia developer page if possible.

Download Whatsapp Installer from https://www.box.com/s/989vqygldiq9cgiawkil & unzip the file. Copy the .jad file & other folder (unzip it too) to ur memory card. Now on ur phone go to the folder where u had saved & just select the Whatsapp icon. Then click on Options Menu of your phone. U will find update version. Update ur Whatsapp & here u go. Register urself & start using Whatsapp on ur Nokia 301 Dual Sim Phone.

If we disconnect 3g connection in n301 how many days it stands(per day 2hours of talking, 2hours of net browsing/downloading and 3hours music/videos playing)
And how is the video playback in this handset.? I want to know all these information from the users of Nokia 301 dual sum. Please reply me... Nani, India.

sumantra. r, 22 Jul 2013i am from bangalore will anybody tell the battery capacity ... moreit is great to have this phone at this price range. I do not believe in long calls but even after surfing continuously for whole day, the battery won't disappoint. You can rely on battery (for it can go for 2days in a single charge.). The only thing to miss are music keys and headphone free radio (and not the equiliser as the sound quality is wonderful)
