Can anybody tell me is it worth to buy this phone at this rate or put some more money and buy a little bit good smart phone within the range of Rs 10000/-?

I think nokia 301 is a bit costly comparing with the features & functions provided.

No ,it doesn't worth to listen music on earphones , because you will have problems with ears in time , except you have to drive and speeak on telephone on the same time, also a bad thing for you driver life ...

I've had the Nokia 301 for about 10 days now and am now past the new toy phase and wanted to see how long the battery lasts in normal usage. With GSM enabled only (i.e. 3G turned off) data turned off and full signal strength I get about 14 hrs of standby before the battery starts to show red. Not the 800+ hrs advertised. Apparently the quoted standby times are measured without a SIM inserted. Who does that? Who has their phone switched on without a SIM in it? Not exactly real world data.
I've just upgraded the software too and I can not now access mail, twitter or facebook. I want a refund.
This phone is rubbish. Avoid!

Download Whatsapp Installer from https://www.box.com/s/989vqygldiq9cgiawkil & unzip the file. Copy the .jad file & other folder (unzip it too) to ur memory card. Now on ur phone go to the folder where u had saved & just select the Whatsapp icon. Then click on Options Menu of your phone. U will find update version. Update ur Whatsapp & here u go. Register urself & start using Whatsapp on ur Nokia 301 Dual Sim Phone.

I had just downloaded Whatsapp on my Nokia 301 Dual Sim Mobile & have checked its working fine, sending & receiving msgs. Now I like Nokia 301 a lot more.

I use a dual sim phone WITH Whatsapp , and it works very well. My phone is Star N9577 , a MTK6577 1,2 Ghz Dual core procesor Android 4.0 with 5.2inch screen 4GB ROM 512MB RAM 3G GPS Cell Phone

Dear Anthi, No Dual sim enabled handsets are allowed for WhatsApp!!!
Me too facing same problem with Nokia 301!!!
WhatsApp should waive this restriction. Nokia should take initiative to enable this application to continue leading in the market.Otherwise i will drop this phone off and request others not to buy...
