Samsung has launched some lower budget phones with almost same specifications here in Bangladesh to decrease nokia market. What you guys think about those phones?

Deep, 15 Jan 2009Does nokia 3110 classic still have the restart problem on i... morenokia launched this phone on feb 2007.but it restarts on 2007.After d end f 2007,the firmwares hav been upgraded,and the restarting prblm gone.Tere is no report on d restarting prblm for upgraded phones fter july 2008.so if u r going 2 purchas tis,then plz look the updated firmware by dialing *#0000#

i have been using 3110c for over two months and i just cant seem to understand what you people are talking about the fone restarting, coz mine never restarts! it is using v.0.701. i am not a nokia salesman or anything so when i say this fone is good, trust me, IT'S GREAT!
where else are you gonna find it's features for that price? if you are the kind of person looking for high resolution and great images and 3G among other high-end features, then this fone is not for you, if however you happen to be a person satisfied by the bare minimums and arent really a big time spender on handsets then this is a good choice provided you dont expect miracles from it and you will neva be heart broken?

Its d time 2 congradulate my beloved NOKIA 3110C.iam fully statisfied.thanks Nokia.i a m using this 4 4months.no problem.it has an excellent value 4 money right now. GREAT WORK NOKIA!! KEEP GOING

Rajesh, 12 Jan 2009this phone does not have the sharp resolution 320*240 and a... moredude this is nokia 3110c..it's obvious it doesn't have what you want. still, you can always buy a 3120, which has 320x240 and 2.0mp camera with led flash...

Use internal nokia browser to go to operamini.com, then choose language and click download. It will be download into application folder. Go to application folder and open permission window - allow opera to run internet on demand, and allow opera to browse microSD (for offline viewing).Now run opera mini and go to settings, and set connection type to socket (must be socket! if you take HTTP it won't work).The internet will start to work now.
As for ADOBE reader, I don't have a program unfortunately. Apart from that i've also been looking for a program to view large TXT files on the phone... internal browser only supports up to 3000 characters. :/

Some Handy Tips:-
1. First go to menu-media-recorder-options then select memory and chose memory card. When you select there will be a folder name Recordings create automitacally and all your recordings will be save to that folder. Enjoy!
2. When you receiving some files via bluetooth or infrared,everything will save first phone receiv. files and then memory card. But there is no receive. files in our memory card so those files save unfolderly! So first mark your files and then chose move then you can see your card and phone memory, Then chose options-open folder and select your desire folder and press move to. Thats it.. All your desire files will be moved to your desired folder.. Like songs to music folder,picture to image folder etc.
3. There is a limitation to create folder or save files in memory card. But there is no limitation when you move something in a folder. So when you receiving many files like 200 picture after some times it shows that unable to.. So just follow my no 2 tips and you are good to go..
