If u want a phone without prblms,take phone which made in hungary. Also check d firmwire version f d phone,by pressing *#0000#.if it less than v.6.03 then it may hav problems. 3.use memory card 1gb or less pros : + integrated 1.3 mp camera with 8x zoom +memory slot + good battery up to 16 days or 8hr mp3 playback +good sound quality +large and easy keypad cones: -slightly blurred screen - difficult to open d back cover -no memory card bundled -low internal memory abt 9 mb. if my post helped someone they reply. Nokia is a great company and they willnt made deffective units.trust me u can buy nokia 3110c.. it is a very very very very gud phone

Great phone. The best mobile phone I bought. Get microSD card with it to store music and you are set. Definitely recommended.

And ofcourse it is a very good phone.also this phone has 256k colour display and that is very much enough 4 poor peoples like us.v dont want 16m display.also please dont say that this fone is bad. Lots of my friends buy this one to use it as modem... i know its seems funny to somebody, but think of a situation where you have to buy a Gprs/Edge modem with some $80 and you just have to add another $20 you are getting this hand set. and you can use this as an extra handset if needed. Yes they are doing this. the handset options and configuration is fine excepr a 65k display. recently i faced a problem with the EDGE moden function and i had to claim warrenty. everything worked fine wothout the USB Modem function.

hey masterLeo, u r very gud n gving troubleshoot solutions, r u from Phil? ive been watching the comments and ur a pretty gud performer... i advice all of u that u save money soo u can buy a better unit of nokia... 7310 supernova,7610,3120 classic,5310,3600 slide,5220 Xpresmusic is one gud choice at a reasonable price.... they have Sv40 5th edition contains 16M pixels..

But what i'm saying is that nokia had deceived a lot of people with this brand and it's not fair. I know a lot of people who have the same restarting problem as mine but who either don't have access to the internet or no that such a site (forum) exist. Honestly i think we all should condemn almight nokia for not honor their specifications and for exploiting innocent buyers with only profit in their mind and not caring for the suffering they go through. Another thing good about this phone is that, ergonomically, it was designed so beautifully to be properly gripped by one hand. Large buttons for keypads are also advisable specially for senior users and large thumbed individuals.

I have been using 3110c for more than a year now. Started with version 5.50 but have upgraded to 7.01. I have never faced a problem with 5.5 or 7.01. I think this phone is very stable and well worth the money spent. Infact I think this phone has true value for money. It definitely has more pros than cons.
To the people with problems, I think you should Free more Phone Memory (at least 50% free) and keep separate folders in the memory card. Use M4u format for music and let Music manager in the PC suite convert and transfer all your music to the card. Try to avoid third party wallpapers and themes downloaded from the internet. This should solve your problems

Update ur 3110c FireWarm to 7.01...
then there will b no problem wid the phone...
im using 2gb card but there is no problem...

Does Nokia PCsuite(7.0.8.2.) have a setting for video size format, 'cuase I only see a high, medium, and low quality setting, and neither give desired results. I am runing a V6.60 os on my phone. is there a more capable video formating system for free, other than PrismVidoeConverter? (wich is I have as a trial run, and expired)

I'm just happy customer with nokia stuff, and this phone is no exception, that's why I'm willing to help people who have problems.
Also I hope you understand it's people with problems who always complain. This phone is sold maybe in MILLIONS of units, but only like 500 people have problems... So there is a lot more SATISFIED people with this phone. People who complain just need to fix their problem.
