Within one week after the pruchase of the mobile, it started with the problem of restarting after tarnsferring some data via bluetooth. Have to do "Factory Reset" every time to solve this problem. Even the technicians at the shop have no solution for it. If any one is facing this please tell me the solution for it.

I had this phone before for about 8 months. But now, I already have the black N82 for more than 2 weeks already.. I have liked this 3110c too most especially its unmatched keypad spacing and this made the 3110c unique. Overall, this was a nice phone to use. I have made a lot of things with this phone. Now I own a N82 already.

I got one a couple days ago. It's a nice phone because it's fast. Has very good GSM range. Storage is expandable as well which is a good bonus.

Please answer this because i am a very... moreErm, memory card consists of bits & bytes, and data is just a specific arrangement of bits and bytes, so the memory card doesn't really care if it's full or not. This doesn't affect its power consumption.

i bought my 3110c at a Digi shop(kuala lumpur, malaysia) in april'08, it didnt bundle with a memory card according to them, so i bought a 2GB microSD elsewhere. after i put in some multimedia files onto it, the phone restart itself endlessly and i can't even make a call, so i suspected it might be having problem supporting 2GB, hence i bought a 1GB card, and problem persisted and i sent it back to Digi shop, and i was told to come back in 2 weeks. after 2 weeks they told me there wasn't any problem with the phone unless if i use a 512MB card, this is rediculous... if 512MB is all i need, i wouldn't have bought this phone. in the end i have to end up getting another phone by trading in this 'problem phone'(still under warranty) for only RM200, and i have to top up another RM250 to get a new 3500c. My advice to all Malaysian or visitors in Malaysia, buy your phone only at authorised Nokia Dealers if you don't mind paying abit more.

I have a question... Please answer this because i am a very obsessive compulsive person hehehe. Does this phone uses the SAME amount of energy for a memory card that has, lets say 40mb of files ONLY, compared to a memory card with almost full memory? I mean in STANDBY mode OK (Without using music player, videos etc) What do you think? Do you think 3110c powers the memory card at the same rate no matter what it's consumed memory? or a memory card with more files in it consume more than a mmc with few files? Again, in standby mode Ok. Please answer in a very scientific manner. Thanks.

2am, 30 Jul 2008Cheers to Masterleo, after the sad leaving of previous 31... moreI've been using this phone since Feb 06, so it's been almost 6 months now. Anyway, here is my sincere and non-generic observations after this time:

+ good battery life (1 week standby, 8h of mp3)
+ good call quality and it's quite loud
+ headphones output is good quality
+ runs applications and games really fast
+ multitasking work no problem (bt+music+wap)

                                    - mp3 player has a "hitching" problem, sometimes the music would "hitch" aka fast forward. it's rare but annoying. you can use other player like KD player, but it doesn't support equalizer :/
                                    - no hot swap for media card. oh i so wished that option to be here.
                                    - FM radio reception is not that great, atleast with generic (included) headphones. I'm getting 13 stations but 1/3 of them is poor signal.
                                    - no bluetooth radio!
                                    - also some USB connection problems, sometimes the phone just doesn't want to be detected by PC. annyoning as hell. but it think this is a generic problem of Nokia PC suite.
                                    - with regards to build quality, two things have come to my mind during this time: the upper (on/off) button is loose, and rattles if you put phone in up-down position.
                                    - even more annoying is the back cover for the battery, which doesn't fit properly into the slot, and "pops" alot (it's that annoying plastical "pop" as if you broke something), particularly during texting or when you are holding the phone firmly. it just feels kinda cheap.

                                    Hope this info helps someone.

Anonymous, 30 Jul 2008What do you mean by firmware version... please replygo to

                                      menu->settings->phone->phone updates->details

this will show some info, but you need to know only the uppermost line which is the firmware version (it's something like V 05.50).

Bargur.Shiva, 30 Jul 2008I want to buy this phone for pc internet connectivity using... moreYes this phone works as an GPRS/EDGE modem. You need Nokia software suite (not included, but you can download free from nokia.com), and a proper USB cable from the nearby hardware shop.

Speed depends on your operator, GPRS is 5kB/s and EDGE about 15 kB/s. EDGE is enabled automatically if operator supports it.
