i am starting to love my nokia 3110... it is all thanks to the answers on the restarting problem posted...and wow 4gb...i just loved my nokia 3110 much much more...thank u guys~♪

hi to evryone.. i have dwnloaded PC Suite for 3110c and connected via data cable my 3110c fone. but the PC Suite does not recognized it, though my PC does recognized the fone. what seems to be the problem with this? can someone help me on this? thnx very much. P.S. i didnt have a microSD inserted when i connect it to my PC and the data cable i used was for motorola fone, it seems to be compatible.. am i right?

As I've said before, the restarting problem cannot be fixed with any firmware update. To reduce the problem, read my tips stated in my last comment below. 1thing, 3110c can take upto 4GB MMC(though officially 2GB announced) with no hanging problems. I've tested 4gb card in my phone(v5.50).It worked fine.

ihave a 3110c phone but its a 5.50 version...
is this version okey in having a 1gb memory ccard? does the problem of restarting do apply on my? answer me pls... and give me a hint...thanks

Can anyone tell me how to send a photo I have taken either to an email address or to another phone?
I change the message to MMS, but no matter what I try, it just comes up as 'message saved for sending'; but it doesn't actually send the message. I had problems sending normal text messages as well, where the same thing happened.

Hey Guys mine do restarts especially when I update music library or download items. I've also updated the firmware and scanned my mmc. But it keeps on restarting. Sanou am waiting for your tips.

The restarting problem is not a firmware problem. Its a bug in internal micro electronics. Nokia's official tech support has informed it. That means no firmware version can fix this problem totally. But u can reduce the problem. Just follow these tips-
1) Try to browse internet with opera mini.Coz its default browser has some script issues which causes restart.
2) Keep the phone memory free between 500KB-550KB.Not more or less than that.
3) Dont update the music library manually. If u want2 update,just switch off the set on it again.It will automatically update the music library.
4) Dont change theme again and again.Coz changin theme will affect on the phone memory consumption.
5) If restarting occurs, than switch off the phone and on it without memory card. After 4,5 seconds,switch off the phone and after 4,5 seconds on it again with memory card.
Hope these tips will reduce the restarting problem as I've.THANKS

Is there sms guard kinda software available for nokia 3110 or 3500? I checked and it seems sms guard software is not compatible with Nokia 3110.

Hi I got mine some days ago. Ho! How splendid it is. My query is ( can it record radio broadcast? If not, can I upgrade from the internet? Thanks for the anticipated response.

hey my 3110 classic is now 6.02 after I warranty upgrade it to the nokia care and wow I really amaze because it has no restart problems. I have a 2GB micro SD and 600MB+ consume on themes, games, videoes, mp3 music and before when I loaded this files restart problem occurs to me. After I upgrade it to 6.02 from nokia care restart problems are no longer occur to me at all. . . . I really love my 3110 classic now!!!!!!

Its a good phone i've used it for 2 months now. Is it possible to update the software using a data cable for another phone model ie motorolla since i cant get it here, also it does not support g.mail application only opera mini.

manzor, 25 Apr 2008My dauhgter and i share the same phone.Her is made in china... morei did the same thing and still have the restarting problems. the technique i guess is to manage ur files really. this forum is really helpful. kudos!

siddy, 18 May 2008go to any nokia care centre and get its software updated to... morei have the ver6.01 but still encounter hanging problems, do i still have to upgrade it to ver 6.02?...but the phone is so far the best...
