Hi, Some of friends imformed me to update the firmware to fix the restarting problem. But I have the latest virsion installed in my Nokia 3110 classic. its v05.50 dated 14-08-07. Now can anybody tell me would I have to flash or re install the firmwire?

Give your phone to Nokia Care to flash in new software. If your phone is under warranty it will be done free. There is no other way to get rid of it. Its actuly virus which corrupts phone's operating system.

my phone gets restart automatically, most of the time when its music library is updated. i have fromatted memory card twice, to get rid of virus if any. then too the problem is not solved. plz any one can help it ou

,i've been using my phone 3110c for almost 2 months and there's no problem with it.Yesterday,my phone keeped on restarting until totally off.what would be the possible reason? please inform me if ever there's already new software updater,tnx.

if money is no concern, get a n95.
if money is a concern, nokia 3110c is the best in price - feature ratio.

Your memory card is probably infected with virus, you know, java phones cannot be infected with virus, but if it detects corrupted/unknown file or program that it doesnt support, like in 6233, corrupted MP3 may cause restarting of the fone, so be carefull of transferring your MMC to other media, hehehe

I suggest Nokia 6233, it rocks with all it's features, hehehe, it has an stable OS, durable, 2 MP cam, VGA video recording, take note VGA!!!!, astonishing, stereo sound, take note again 3D stereo sound!!!! Awesome, and memory ecandable up to 2GB!!!! Yeah!!! and many more!! radio, 3G for fast web browsing, friendly user interface, fast menu, and QVGA display, very bright and legible under direct sunlight, YEAH!!!

dependent Means Your Operator Will Allow
You To Activate Push To Talk Service
2.. 3g And Edge Are Not a software it a kind
of Modem .... For Example Normal PhOne
Which Do Not Have Edge And 3g Comes with
a modem With a speed of 32-60 kbps.. With
Edge Enable Phone You Can Have 2 mbps
Speed and With 3g You can Have More
It also Depend On How Much Your Operator

that set is have somany problems...
and hanginh restarting automaticaly. we cont save antivirus softwares properly..

push to talk / ptt / walkie talkie is a network dependent service. check if your network supports it. this is also same as edge. some networks support gprs only while others support gprs/egprs.

in 3110c there is option of PUSH TO TALK , can anyone tell me how it works and what is it mean, can we use it free of cost ??? or it work by service provider.

Firmware version is 5.5 .I think u misunderstood my last post. By the way my phone never restarted while listeneing to RADIO.But its getting restarted while doing both the things simultaneously,that is while playing SUDOKU game and the RADIO playing at the back.And regarding the MUSIC PLAYER I do not have any corrupted files.I've only 3 mp3 songs(in d phone mem) but still I experience RESTARTING while updating the LIBRARY.Is it because of the dumped(almost fully)phone memory.
