I thnk its always recommended 2 update frmware vrsion whnever available bcoz it offers improved prfrmance of d fone...
There r 3 ways dat i know 2 update firmware:
1. Over d air update(wen spprted by ur srvce prvder).
2. Through PC using Nokia Software Updater.
3. Through taking ur fone 2 d nearest Nokia Care center & dey wil be d one 2 do all d steps..
I thnk the 3rd one is d safest bcoz i hav heard dat wen u updte firmware through PC & der r interruptions lyk elctrcty blackout wen u r not fnshed installing d firmware, ur fone wil go crazy. But i'm not sure f it's true or not. & wid the 1st one, i thnk it wil b costly. Bcoz ur srvce prvider might charg u for d data transmission. Try asking sumbody els her lyk fireball. I thnk he already xpriencd updting firmware.

So if/when a firmware update for 3110c becomes available how or where do I get it? Even if it doesn't support the new format of Micro SD, still seems like it might be good to upgrade the firmware, no?

Hey, i also got that problem before. I took my phone to Nokia Care and they explained to me that it's a software-related problem. When they gave my phone back to me, that problem was already fixed.. I think they reinstalled the firmware to fix that problem.. Try it..

hmmm. i actually don't know about this but check your phone memory especially your messages because mms is saved as a message. (i think message full should be the error code) anyways check this. = )

also, it is better to contact your network provider for this feature. your network might not have roaming partner to the country you will go.

roaming is a sim feature. in the philippines, to activate roaming feature is just by texting certain code by network provider.

I never had problems with this phone until i dropped it once and it started restarting when i update my music library and when i insert my 1gb micro sd card.what a waste of money, can somebody help me with this??

Though the camera is 1.3 MP but Camera quality is not upto the standard. Others are good.

hi everyone. its been a while since my last log in and m glad to see a lot of 3110c users. well ive been using this phone for approx 16 days and i admit ive been constantly using its every features. yes i am experiencing restart problems but im not that bothered since it happens once a while. my prob now is that i think my phone got a virus. im not really certain but when i was malling i forgot to turn off my blue tooth. it was late when i realized that i accepted something. i havent read what it is but ive searched the phone and also found nothing. no trouble whatsoever till this morning when i tried taking pics the cam isnt able to save files and always gets on the camera standby mode. i changed the setting in the image and video storing to a folder in my mem card ( 1 gig ). but whenever i try adding a folder or moving a file to the memory it is saying operation failed. is this a sign that my phone got infected or i just need to reformat my mem card? my sister also told me that it is possible to get virus via downloading and installing themes. but i only get my themes in mobile9 and zedge. is it also possible?
i wish that someone can help me clear out. i really love my phone and ill be devastated if something went horribly wrong.

Dear Sir,
I hav purchased this mobile on the month of August,2007. After 3 months i am enable to recv images/ music Vidios/ etc from anyother moblile.once i start accepting i find the wording as operation Failed.
To be specific, i hav 512 MB memory card.
Please advise wat wil be the Problem, so that i can chk with near by showroom / or the place where i purchased the mobile.

check the other posts in the 3110c page. there are a lot of posts of applications. just be sure to have enough memory for your phone. also, push to talk is network dependent. check if your network supports ptt and have their settings.
