can anybody just guide me that how cud i manage to set the memory card memory as defualt memory for the storage of incoming data via bluetooth or i/red in 3110 classic?????????thanx.phone is good otherwise

I had this phone for about 2 weeks already and I absolutely love it!!! And for a cheaper price you can get a phone with bluetooth, infrared, mp3 player, radio, camera, and has expandable memory so you can store bigger files like mp3s... though the camera's not that good, there's no better way to have quality pictures than using an actual camera...

FM and Mp3 player is good. But Very worst camera resolution. I think VGA camera is better than it's 1.3mp camera. Don't buy it if you like camera.

Very worst camera resolution. I don't think it is 1.3megapixel. It's resolution is worse than VGA camera. Those who don't like camera can buy it for FM and MP3 player. Ring tone volume is very low.

I want to buy NOKIA-3110 classis.
Plz someone help me to make clear that
is it really a good phone? or I have not to buy it ?? what about camera and Sound quality?
and Which Memory card is good 512 or 1 GB.

A good budget phone by nokia, an all in one budget phone. pros are memory card supported upto 2gigs, fast enough to play 3D games,cons are camera is bad, sometimes restarts. Any way thumbs up for nokia.

Hi,
1)weak pixels, must be min 176x220
2)bad camera results of 1.3 MP
3)it is gud but key pad is too large, should be large display than key pad
4)Expensive than Samsung E200
No other complains.....Overall gud...

3110 has only 128 x 160 pixels. the pictures are actually clear but you can see the pixels if you look close enough. Unlike other phones like the 6230i or 6131 which have more pixel count. The 3110 compensates it by increasing the colors to 256K. I doesn't bother me when typing but unless you really want a very clear screen, get a QVGA with high pixel counts. However, this screen really drains the battery.

hi i have a problem that i have recieved about 350mb music files out of 512mb after completion of it the phone used to start by itself and then its off i dont know what happened. i cant switch on my phone.

The 3110 has a good design and function, except that it really is prone to smudges. But i realized that the back casing has its advantages since it is not that slippery so as your phone to slide out of your pocket and slip off the table. It is reasonably priced here in the Philippines. Features are great and just right for its class. I just miss the QVGA of 6131 ( The main display malfunctioned after 1.75 yrs. I understand that this is the weakness of clamshell phones, since a lot have noted this problem and shifted to bar types)

When i bouth my phone i installed gmail app to look my emails. Once i found certificates with strange name and i deleted some certificates of the phone and now i cant connect to my gmail from java app. Because writing certifiate not support or smth else. Does anybody know hot to restore or to install certificates? Factory restore mode doesn't worked.

2 problems encoutered with this phone:
* choosing "all tracks" the mp3 player sorts the tracks alphabetically, not by album :O (can this be changed?)
* the phone & the buttons are too wide, my thumb is working much more typing smses with one hand than my 6230i. the 6230i has much more ergonomic keypad and phonebody, thicker but less wide. considering going back to 6230i

TO NIGHT LOVER, all you said about this phone is faultse, im more of a SE fan but i must say this phone is cool. All that NICK said below is correct, and i thank him for taking time to write such a lenghty stuff about this phone. TO TIPU, you got it all wrong pal, except that you are not talking about this phone (3110c). Let me first of all tell you im writing this on the phone using opera mini, there are also a lot better java applications you can use to logon to yahoo and even hotmail at the same time, not the lousy window you get when you login thru the link you put in here. Go to wap.getjar.com with your browser and you will be able to download all you need to make this more exciting, including opera mini Currently i have 5 IM applications, mig33 beta, reporo, movamessenger, morange and ymess, which is the most economical in terms of gprs charges.

Perfect body - practical design, easy to push buttons, very nice black plastic, very smart back panel that locks really well (Some say it comes off hard!!! Well that's the point!!!). I could not think of a more optimal body (There are smaller phones in the same class but smaller does not mean better). Overall 9(will explain)-10/10.
Features - It has everything and just enough of it(Radio/MP3 player/Camera/BlueT/USB...). Excellent sound. Camera just right - 1.3Mpx (There are other phones with 3-5Mpx cameras for which you will pay more and still get poor picture compared to a real camera). 9(Will explain)/10.
Performance - Excellent - really good battery life, not a single problem with any of the functions, display perfectly visible in any condition. 10/10
What would have made it perfect (10/10)? Stereo speakers(Stereo is now available only via headset) and memory card that's accessible without removing the battery(There is microSD but currently must remove the battery to replace)... Note! depending on the usage these might not be a problem at all!
My recommendation. If you need a phone and want an mp3 player that can match say iPod(my opinion this is better). If you want a camera as well... that's the phone. If you need camera there is no phone that will match a good camera.
If you want PDF/Office + Wifi - use a computer/laptop. If you need PDF/Office + Wifi go for a smartphone but expect low battery life (compared to 3110).

hi,
i have bought this phone last week. its a nice one with the capabities to do it is designed for. The music player is good but i feel that the radio is not louder compared to the music player. is there any way to increase the volume? if anyone knows plz send options. i think its a good phone at this budget.

I am using this model for 7 days. it is a nice phone. It does not support opera mini. i can't login yahoo messenger form http://m.yahoo.com . can any one give me a solution for this?
