stop comparing this phone to high end phones. this one is a budget phone but worth the buy because it has all the necessary features. Nokia cannot afford to give 16 million colour screen and 2 mega pixel camera on a budget phone. so guys understand.
the interface is very fast and very easy to use. the signal strength in closed areas and battery life is outstanding. the advantage of longer battery life is due to low resolution screen. After a long period nokia has come out with a solid performance phone in the budget phone catagory. i am sure this phone is going to be a hit model.

Had this phone for two weeks now and overall im impressed.
its easy to use, has a very good range of features and it works well in all respects.
if i had to criticise it i would say that the ringtone volume isnt the loudest ive heard and the vibrating alert is just adequate.
Also the screen resolution is a little bit of a dissapointment...but as has already been pointed out quite correctly this isnt a high end phone.
great phone for the money.

Yes, the 3110 does have an active display. It runs Series 40 3rd Ed FP2, which includes an active standby screen. It's not Symbian, this isn't a smartphone, but Series 40 is now developing very quickly and getting very close to the standard features of Symbian S60 smartphones.

it's an amazing phone. it costs dhirams five hundred and thirty in dubai which is equalent to indian rs.five thousand five hundred only. worth the buy.

Sorry, some typo in my earlier posting, corrected here
Looks like Nokia is releasing new phones with the "Classic" name reusing earlier model numbers. Before this, in the new candy bar model range was 6300, now this 3110 Classic, high-end 6120 Classic with 3G Symbian, and coming next is 3109 Classic which is exactly like this 3110 Classic BUT without camera.

OS used in 3110 Classic is S40 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 2. You can get more technical specs from Nokia Forum resource page. The phone jack is 2.5mm which is getting more common today.

finally i bought dis fone last week..nice fone..super slimm..superb stereo speaker like 6300..hmm okkay camera with 1.3 mp..everythin is similar to 6233 but no 3g n dispaly resolution is a lil bit dull..in the sense less resolution..bl-5c battery with gud battery backup..finally its 6800INR..wortheddddddddddddddd
