modem driver of nokia 3120 mobile phone is not avaiable in windows Xp + Service packII
and also in pc suit 6.8. kindly give me the solution

i know that there is inbuilt modem in nokia 3120.i have DKU-5 cable,but i m not able to connet to internet by nokia-3120.what is the problem?
Please send me the solution.

Oh, and yes you can use on onlive via PC with DKU-5 Pop-port cable and free downloadable cable driver software.
This is the best phone on the market for its size, battery, and features. Highly recommended.

If you want camera, mp3, radio then the Nokia 6230i is what you want. To use 3120 USB, you must buy the DKU-5 Pop-Port to USB cable for the 3120. See my other comment below.
The 6030 is a 3021 upgrade with 65K screen and Radio, does no USB(PC Interface) and voice record and 1800 band removed. Compare the 3120 side by side with the other phone models PhoneScope.com to get the differences in features and size.
BTW, I don't think you will be happy with the digital camera you get on a phone, but they are getting better. Also more to go wrong. Consider getting a camera and mp3 separately.

hey guys i hope u pple listen carefully on this comment...i have the nokia 3120 for about 3 monts its a pretty nice fone...an also hard maybe as hard as the 1100...but my comment is about the 3120 features...i was disappointed, i had my hopes up wen i bought it...i looked the 3120 up,and then wow it wasn't so pleasant but still good...i was thinkin if u made an upgrade of it 3120i or somethin...i was sayin it would be much pleasin...if it had fm radio,mp3 ringtones also usb an a camera...it sounds so sweet dosen't it...an somethin else,the manuel says it has usb,the gsmarena say it has usb...but i dont see anywhere to put the chord in, wats up with that!!??But plz if u answer the question i'll be grateful...but if u even upgrade it like how i told u ill be even more grateful an buy it ofcourse...

Hey Guy's, I have been using the 3120 for about a year now..... and i have abused it quite a bit but its never let me down. This is a well built small & light weight phone. And of course its a nokia so even a toddler can use it. The only down side is the housing scrapes pretty easy and i think im going thru my 3rd one. CHEERS!!

I just bought this phone.It is a very good phone, i love it. I recharce for the first time the battery and it last for 11 day.It is amaising, i was amaising....if you can buy it go for it..

been using this cell for year plus. man...it is such a tough, reliable, sincere and loyal cell i ever had!altho yes it is just my secondary cell beside than S.E but hey...it has nvr let me down for single time!great batt life and oso darn user frenly!yes,altho it dont have all the other functionalities like any other cell has nowsday such as camera,bluetooth,infrared or bla bla bla but however, this cell has its own potential of daily usage!hey,better than u go and hunt around for public phone rite?

This is the awesomest(is this a word?) little feature(Biz) packed and attractive well bilt phone you'll on. it is a practical space limited, no mp3(buy one) no camera gem.
I have owned mine for almost a year and depend on its appointment calendar, voice recorder(of course it has one ya'll I use it duh) vol controlled speaker phone and USB(via nokia's pop-port and cable) to Outlook Express. It has great reception, rcv volume, and has been highly reliable.
Includes stop watch, calc, and countdown timer too. If you don't need an MP3 player or camera or bluetooth, then it has more biz features than the 6020(or 21) or 6030 newer cameras.

This phone does not hav an infrared port.
does not hav an sufficient memory for java applications...no clarity..
The only advantage is a very gud battery talktime

This was my first mobile phone, and it was locked and branded by Cingular. At only $20, this certainly isn't going to be a powerhouse of a phone, but that doesn't make it a bad phone. It has great standby time, so it will do good as a backup phone of sorts, and the build quality is above average. While the lack of a camera, radio, etc. is a big turn off, the Nokia 3120 is still a great dedicated mobile phone.

I went for 3120 6 months back. problems :
1)Low sound quality. 2)keypad is not convenient for elders. 3)Suddenly starts hanging and swithsh off. 4) HCL servece centre worked with this for 15 days and return in the same condition. 5) now planning to go for other phone. 6) There is voice recorder feature in the website , but you should contact Einstein to know the process. 7) service in india perticulatrly in chennai( HCL infinit) is worst( i don't have the other words)rather than the quality of the product. 8) Serveice centre guys feel like they are dealing with time machine and satelites.

I bought this mobile a year ago and it did not give me a single problem till now. It is best phone from nokia i ever used. I would strongly recommend to go through it. At last great phone!!!
