my gf's sister bought this phone a month ago. The screen sucks!! Totally out man. The phone looks plasticky as well.

Hi everyone ! I just bought my 3120 , but I have troubles with the data cable.My friend has Nokia 6230 , so I took his DKU-2 cable,but my PC SUite cannot find the phone..(it happens with Oxygene too)Can you tell me if I have to buy a DKU-5 or I should just change the drivers for the DKU -2 ?

Samsung X100 is 100 times better than Nokia 3120. X100 has 9MB of memory where as 3120 has only 600 kb. X100 has 65k screen N3120 is only 4096. Go for X100 if u are not Nokia fan.

I like all of the nokia products but Nokia is very EXPENSIVE! Pls compare with same class-other brand and you'll find the better & more cheaper.

Nokia 3120 n 3100 is the same...it's jz the features...their covers fit too!!

Sorry, guess there was a typo in my 1st post earlier. Meant to say 3120 can store 140 smses in the phone memory, wif 20 more available in my sim card. However, the memory in the sim card varies frm different telcos as there are 32k, 64k, 128k and also 256k sim cards. I'm using a 32k sim card.

This phone can store 160 smses (140 in the phone, 20 in sim card). And no, the 3120 has no backlighted keypad (if its like the 3350's keypad that u meant, Nisou). However, the backlighted numbers and words are sufficient for my use. Been using the 3120 for 3 mths now. So far has been problem free. The only drawback is the rather lack of memory space, 1MB (but that shouldn't be a prob if u do not download much stuff into your phone). N also the lack of infra-red (again, this should not be a prob to ppl who do not transfer files). Screen is considerably better than 3100, and of course i think its appearance seems much better too although the functions r exactly the same. 6610 is a rather old model n bigger than 3120 so Jey, if your dad is familiar wif Nokia's functions and wants to get a new fuss-free Nokia phone, 3120 is a good choice. Just that other brands might have phones with better functions at the similiar price. But then again, most ppl (like me) choose Nokia coz they're used 2 it and its user-friendly.

Can somebody tells me if the Nokia 3120 has a backlight keypad which would allow me to see correctly the letters on the keys ? It would be easy for me to send SMS. I'am a parisian lady retraited.Thank you very much for any response.

Hi ppl.. for those of you who own a Nokia 3120 , can you tell me how many text messages can it keep.. i am thinking of gettting it for my dad as he wants a fuss free fon and one without a camera.. anybody got any opinions to share?... currently he own a nokia 6610

I think Nokiá's phones sucks.Why don't try some thing differnt for a change!!!I am sorry to say that ppl,but now days i am really think that Nokia's phone r too expensive in comparation with the others and the others r better
