Am UK based and wish to use this as a fast modem with laptop.
Already have a Nokia 6120c which when downloading through handset browser shows 3.5G on display but when used as laptop modem, laptop says connected at 360Kbps (I think ten times slower)!
Want a faster phonebased modem with laptop.
If this is nt suitableis there any other inexpensive (can use eBay)Skype enabled (preferably Nokia) HSDPA (pref 7.6 Mbps) handset that I could use ?
GSM arena can you help ?

which camera is be... moreyes this n3120c does take videos in VGA mode 640x480.
it is good then 6120c but design wise 6120 is good. 3120c is has good camera technique new features in it.
video is xelent. battery is large so take some days. more i tell u soon here.

I know that the latest firmware for the 3120c is 9.41, but mine is 7.16 and it seems to be the only one available by nokia updater software. I'm french, is it only available in certain regions?
What do I have to do ?

The battery of a phone compared to a music phone it did'nt impress me but as a regular call and text phone it's great.... around 5 to 6 days

Specs mention that 3120c supports UMTC 384 Kbps. Does it mean that it does not support HSDPA where faster connectivity of 1.8, 3.6, 7.2 and 14.4 Mbit/scan be achieved?

Is the battery life in this phone so bad as mentioned???
The review says it is better than written. I want to hear your comments!!! If it manages to last about three days with moderate use, it should be fine.

bought one last week. great phone. good key pad, camera and display. cheapest nokia 3g phone.
had some problems when removing the hands free.(hanging issues)
other than that nothing negative to say. buy one

I ve dis fone frm 15 days.Much better dan my old N72.
GOOD-Display qlty is great n better dan N73.Sound qlty is good.Cam fotos r very good in full screen but when im zooming fotos de r not as good.
BAD-Zooming ability in images is not good.cant edit videos.editing image ability is bad.Profile settings get changed by changing themes.
Front side seems nice bt back side not.
Front cam only 4 video calling.
But these are minors.
After all A VERY GOOD MIXUP by Nokia.
