I tried the same steps but when I make all ... moreStrange... becasue when I connected to my Yahoo account after reading your post, I could immediately connect and retrieve my mails. I already have setup my hotmail, gmail and ovimail on my phone.
Can you connect to the internet with your phone? if you can then there should be no problem. If you are connected to the internet, try the configuration once again and restart your phone.

I tried the same steps but when I make all the configuration by following steps and connect to mailbox server, it always gives an error 'Unable to connect network' OR 'network not available'.
Any other idea?

I would like to know, how to configure pop3/smtp email (yahoo,msn,gmail or own domain email) in Nokia 3120 Classic. I followed the steps in help manual, and on screen help..but not working..!
Following same steps, I configured POP3 email in my NOKIA 6233 and its working fine.
Is there anything specific required..!! any detail help documents..!! please share with me.

I had to go for a few days to a location with no network coverage... I found out that the battery of 3120c dies really fast even without use. Less than one day. Had to recharge daily.

I have 3120C from last one & half year but it's BL-4U battery is is so poor in back-up, that in stand-by also it wont last for 24hrs. I sopke in Nokia care & they have told me to re-installation & did it but no improvementi noticed. If it shows full battery in its display, after 1hr standard use, once i switch-off, again if i switch-on it use to show half charged.
Whether replacement of battery is the only one option? Can anybody reply me..............
