the resolution is ok ... but you should watch the size of the game. download games below 1 mb in size. You are probably downloading games made for symbin phones etc which have more memory. While it is true that some games might not work even if the memory is sufficient, most should work. I suggest you to try to store most of the stuff (like music etc) on the memory card to free up the phone's internal memory. Try to keep the phone memory free from unnecessary burden.

I believe Skype or similar programs can be installed and used on a 3120c
