Well ... I just want to ask a question b4 getting 3230 i had Nokia 7610 i had lots of Sms in my MMc Memory and make sure that 7610 provides u the facility to keep ur sms in MMc memory and in 3230 there is no option for this .. .
Now please any1 tell me how could i restore my all msgs tht were sent to me by Beloved in my Nokia 3230..... All the sms r saved in my MMc memory feel free to contact me on my Email address ... waiting 4 ur suggestions ... Regards Zeeshan Advani

I liked nokia phone like 6600,I lost my mobile,then I bouht this mobile nokia 3230,I found this mobile not good like 6600,memory low,all software is not compatable to this 3230.Can you people upgrade this modle.Thanking you inadvance Your'sfaithfully

nope 512 MB RS MMC wont lag the phone. but someone told me that 1 GB RS MMC would..

To people wanting to have STEREO sound coming out of ur Nokia 3230:
1. Upgrade yr 3230 firmware to v4.0537.0ch at Nokia Care only.
2. Go to www.dotsis.com/vb/ to download and install PowerMp3 v1.01 into your phone.
3. Music files can be played with wonderful STEREO sound!!
And if you would like to take a risk, you can hack yr Nokia headset to modify and attach yr own personal headphones. Refer to "http://cellphones.hackaday.com/entry/1234000220054587/" for instructions to do so.
At the end of the day, you will have yr 3230's music player playing music at top quality STEREO sound with thumping BASS! Like that?

Some theme has been programmed such that it can be removed from the application manager. But generally u can just delete off any theme from the themes menu by highlighting the theme u wanna remove and then press option and then delete.

wah. to me this phone is not as good as it looks. lagging, weird camera, hard buttons, and very very easy to spoil.

It has been a nice experience using this phone. Just have one problem don't know who to uninstall any theme which I installed earlier ? If anyone can help in this regard it will be very kind.

thx hunk u have been a gr8 help. ill get the firmware upgraded n u r rite my phone does hang sometimes n is slow...hope fully upgrading it will solve the issues coz i really like this phone n its features

hey everyone!
i had purchased my 3230 nokia about month ago
and i do agree that this phone is good
and great without the sound poor quality :-(
i installed the powermp3 1.00 program but it is not functioning well! it don't play mp3 songs correctly (so much slow) so i could not test if this program can really give stereo output ???
and about the firmware
does it really improve the sound quality?

the correct frimware version is 4.0526.0 and 4.0537.0 as much i know 4.0537 i da latest

yor firmware is up2date no problem with tht. did you dropped yor cell?... ok forget it, try to use any of yor frends battery(BL-5b)
if yor problems still exists "ask nokia care for replacement" coz you hav got warrenty..

hi friends i hv purchased the 3230 on 25/2/2006,after purchasing the phone my phone got restarted four times in three days while using .i had given the phone to nokia ser center to upgrade the firmware and now its ver is 4.0537.0 after upgradation but problem of switching off while using the phone still persist
can anyone suggest me why this is happening???

the firmware on yor 3230 is too old, the screen flickering and dust collection problem is along with the early 3230 handsets which is fixed now.
i am pretty sure your 3230 not-only givin you screen flickering but also slow-startup & hanging. "i strongly recommend u to upgrade yor firmware" the FW versions 4.0.26.0 & 4.0.36.0 are very much STABLE & FAST.(try to get 4.0.36.0)

if the nokia service center is unable to rectify da problem then tell them to upgrade firmware
press *#0000# this will show u da firmware No. of yor 3230 . "i am sure yor on. is old(3.0.. somethin like tht)" . tell yor service center 2 upgrade firmware with 4.0.26.0 or 4.0.37.0 or above.
if you've got warrenty remaining then they will do it 4 free
i hope this will solve yor problem
