i dont know but while i speak n no of times the cell gets switched off itself. I would like to know how can i remove this vibrator mode out my cell please help.I find that the battery gets exausted within hours .

its cheap alrite but why put price ova quality in this case this phone is a disaster,full of flaws and very dissappointin i myself thought it woul be much better

i like this phone. but i havent got yet. want to buy this phone. many time i think about it and i read your opinion everyday. know soun of 3230 is slow and mono. but i want to buy this phone all the case. what are you recomend mi

i think infrared is more suitable to transfer small files like midi...use bluetooth or data cable, data cable is faster..but the fastest is transfer to your memory card via card reader first then put it in your phone

hi all
please , i am facing a problem the phone data transfering or receiving speed is so slow no it is the slowest i have ever seen it takes me about 15min to tansfer a file of 2mb by infrared but onestly i didn't try bluetooth yet so wat can i do??

i want to answer the question of AAC support , yes 3230 can play aac files but the sampling ate must be below 44100hz , i tried 22050hz and it was excellent

i wish i had held on to the 3230 but at that time i wasnt aware that the fw upgrade could fix the sound and i was completely taken aback by the horrible sound it had and couldnt stand it so changed to another model.......i feel that nokia could improve on these issues, they could hav had better QC and made the sound acceptable from the start it was released...as what i was looking for was not excellent sound, in fact i knew it was mono and i was just looking for acceptable mono sound from the 3230, but at that time it was far below my expectations. the mp3s had background noise, and some of the music when played had some sort of ssss noise to accompany it, in addition to not being clear. that time i was really shocked why nokia could release phones with such sound quality. luckily, the problems with these horrible sound dont exist anymore with newer firmware even though the mp3 can't become stereo.....and a gd thing nokia fixed the sound, otherwise 3230 would be known for its horrible sound quality and discourage pple from buying it.

i downloaded themes for my phones into the RS MMC, which is sis. format. But my memory card cant seem to read the files? is there anything wrong with the phone or the memory card?

Bad bad phone,
Too bad it has symbian too,
cant they make a better OS than it?
it must all the time so slow and buggy,
Nokia makes one platform (series 60) and use it to all their phones with slight changes :-(
Menu is very slow, the phones jams all the time, it cant support new 3D Java games and the NES emulator runs too slow,
on the top of that dust penetrates through the screen and has horrible effects on display, i ve been to Nokia for this problem and they said the guarantee wont cover it.
Well the rumours about Nokia's reability are just rumours...

Josie: With Version 4+ of the firmware MP3 playback is very good, but is not in stereo. There is nothing you can do to make it stereo, except listen to the radio (which is stereo). So if you want a good stereo MP3 player you should get one separately or consider another phone.

u can download sis files from funmaza.com in the mobile section there r 100s of them and u can download them to ur computer then send them to ur phone via cable or bluetooth

hii everyone, as i'm like you guys love this 3230 so much, just can't get my hands off it!
anyway rgding the powermp3, i've downloaded and installed but it is a trial version, so anyone can provide their precious info to me on how to crack this thing?
