ha ha the other day when my dad bought a 3230 he couldn't fit his sim card strange huh i told him to get a different phone but he wouldn't listen to me.

pls spend some time to read the previous post. What u ask has been answered before. Just go and read 10 to 15 pages back and slowly move on to more recent pages... then u will know how to decide.

i wanna get 3230 i thnk its a cool pone can anybody say hw is the camera the quality the memory c hip and can we put 156\ 512 memory card how is the mp3
player the sound wat is the difference bet 1.2 mp and 1.3megapixel. does the phno always hung up or when u put too many softwares can anyone plzzzzzz say and do they hav the candem problem it means when the phnoe falls down does the display go out pllllllzzz im on my knees coz im wanna get plzz can anyone say

dude i wuld suggets 3230 as i have both at my home my bro is usin 7610 which is a bit faster when it comes to image capture,but the clarity and rest every features is upgraded in 3230 i think 3230 is complete piece

What u said is not stupid. It is the exact thing I did when i want to have higher volume. I either use my hand or aim the speaker close at a reflective surface or slot it through a confined space. In fact by just putting it on a wooden or glass table will help a bit.
Basically the problem is becoz there isn't enough confined space for the speaker to vibrate the air to generate the sound. Just like a hifi speaker in it's own box. If u take away the box, u basically won't get good loud sound at all.
Anyway, thx for ur suggestion.

I am getting a new fone soon, i am still deciding between 3230 and 7610, can anybody give me any comment, which is better and more stable and no0t as problematic. Thx

if u need 2 register smart movie the code is 16900 some times this code works even on other apps,i would like 2 ask you some sites like www.dotsis.com ,if u can make you'r hand arround your speaker of the phone,u may be abel to increase the volume,i don't know how to explain it but ,get a a4 paper,make some thing like a ice cream cone,keep the smaller part arround the speaker and the sound increases i know it's stupid,don't mind the spelling mstakes ok,bye

Hey People! I don't know about you people, but i didn’t find any issue with my 3230. It’s extremely fantastic. Only issues were with its Infra Red, it doesn't work at all.
Is this problem faced by all? Other wise it is just the right PHONE at right COST.

I have a nokia 3230 but I have been trying to send a multi media message to an email address but it does have the option.
I have been wondering whether I am not doing something right or the phone does not have the feature.

Yupe... i addressed that issue long time ago... i think so far i didn't hear any goodnews from anyone in this world that Nokia at their place is fixing the problem. I think they don't even admit there such a problem. :-(

I bought the phone a few months ago, want i noticed is that the cell doesnot vibrate on receiving messages in the scilent mode, but it does vibrate on receiving calls, no s/w update available yet, also confirmed it is an error in all the phones not only mine.

Also, i get the error, Error on Wireless Link (when transferring file via IR from laptop to 3230) "Access is denied"
i transferred data from 3230 to laptop and it was ok.
help!!!!!!!!

I am having the same problem as Rishi and Graham. I have noticed that it doesnt give u option to save ur messages in Mempry card or Phone memory , but that option is there in 6600.
when transferring a file from PC to the phone via IR, i also get a "not enough memory, please delete data". i checked my memory and i have more than enough.
when it says Shared Memory, does it mean Phone memory? Cant we designate pictures or videos to go to memory and txt messages to phone?

guys,this cell is pathetic,its so slow,and except for number buttons,the buttons are so hard.It keeps hanging,and the worst part is when u play any music file ,the volume button doesnt work.The only solution to this is to switch it off and then on,how dumb.
