I bought this mobile in www.cable-land.net And I´m so happy . It´s a great cell phone.

This phone has various benefits such as;
bluetooth,infrared,radio,symbian,1.23megapixel camera,nice design,EDGE,mmc which is replaceable without having to switch off the phone,High quality construction,cheap in prise and also this is new
Also people tell that this has some drawbacks;
The dust goes under the screen, if you don't know how to remove dust, what can we do?
Then they say that they cannot replace covers, and I say that we can replace covers, if not what do we see at various web sites which sell those covers?
Does s.e. p910, motorolla v3, n91, n70and all the 'cool' phones can change covers?
Then they say that we cannot put a normal size Mmc , why do we put if we can get Rs -Mmc? ,how many of you use normal size mmc?
(I like to ask that how many of you use gramophones and how many of you use mp3 players)
Oh the beep sound ,if you here the ringing tone why not just a small beep, also you people say that you can change firmware and stop the beep sound.
What do you expect from a phone? ,do you expect surround sounds or 1.3 mega pixel camera other than 1.23,do you feel the difference between 1.3 and 1.23?,then you can buy a 20 Gb mp3 player and a 1.3 mega pixel camera and don’t forget to buy a 6000w sub woofer for your mp3 player. ok I know that this has better sounds than k700i which don’t has even symbian os.
By the way what is 6230i,ohh it’s the old design, just like the 6610,6610i, 1110 and even 3120 had it. I can see no difference at the first glance.can it send megapixel images via mms? Even the Memory card is under the battery. And it’s It's battery lasts only a day during normal work. Series 40.
Also you can use softwares to send data which is bigger than 4.5mb ,and to record voice
i don't think that you can live with this phone,i think that you cannoth live without.I got work guys , bye………..

Oh and it's the same price as the 3230, only problem is it's not a smart phone.

Hey, the Nokia 3230 is good (I own it) but if you are concerned with EDGE I suggest you get the Nokia 6230i. It's EDGE is 2 times faster, it's camera is a full 1.3 megapixel unlike Nokia 3230's 1.23 megapixel camera, Nokia 6230i has 1 hour voice recording and 3230 only has ONE minute and well to put it straight, Nokia 6230i has all of what 3230 plus more and it is smaller!

First of all- I must say that im a big nokia fan. All my phones have been nokia and right now im using a Nokia N-Gage so you can tell that im in-need of a new phone. I been looking around and i was checking out the SE K750 and im seriously thinking about that phone but theres one problem. It doesnt have EDGE.. and the service provider im with just now got edge and now i need something with edge. So im wondering, Is the 3230 right for me?
* Im a big application geek. I love putting games and programs on my phone.
* Im not that much of a ringtone guy.. I mean i have alot but i dont have alot of unique ringers for certain people. Though the next phone i get- Im definetly going to change my way on this and make certain ringers for certain people.
* Obviously, I like fast phones. Slow phones are a no-no.
* Like i said before- I use my card reader often and i been reading and it says you can't put files on the phone larger than 4.5 MB at a time? Wha?
So.. thats my deal. If somebody who has this phone can tell me if this is the phone for me using the information above- Then you'd save me alot of time and money.. lol.

for u info.. the mp3 sound is better then last time.. and yes the beep sound has been removed with the new firmware(4.0526.0ch)

This is 2 y'all. Now dat we know d prolems 3230 has, can some1 just take his/her time 2 post d solutions to the problems:
1]dust
2]MP3 SOUND!!!!!
3]d fone restarting itself
4]opening the case
5]upgrading the os
6]the problem when playing games
7]and other problems not stated above
Im just about gettin this fone, despite d problems dat hav been identified by other users cos every problem has probable solutions.
TC, i'll really appreciate ur contribution to this cos u seem like d most versatile. Thanks y'all.

Please tell me if there is anyone here with the newest firmware for 3230 (4.0526.0ch)And could you tell me what are the changes (is it truth that the beep befor the melody is gone and the mp3 is much better) And can you tell where did you upgrade it from. Because i thing that this firmware hasn't come to my country, yet. And also what is the date of this firmware. You now, when you type *#0000# it shows the version and the date of the firmware.

i just purchased nokia 3230 and found that the memory inside is not enough, so i would love to buy another rs-mmc. may i know which brand is best suitable for 3230 ? and how much would it b costing ? need a card reader as well.
other than the memory, others r awesome. the camera is good enough for a hp.

i heard alot of bad comments about tis phone jus need ppl to comfirm cos im planning to buy tis phone..the sound volume isit louder den 6230?the new firmware can remove the beep sound?how were the software when u installed application lyk agilemessenger in it?if u were to choose between 6670,7610 and tis wad were u choose?the screen will get dusty easily?isit true that u cannot transfer things directly to the mmc card via cardreader?

its a great phone i had it for only few days the obly drawback is the softkeys the tend to be hard to press. Number keys are ok though. Compared to 6630 the size and design of 3230 is much better. Here in my country they were price the same. I chose the 3230 over the 6630 coz its much later model that the 6630 in addn to its FM radio.

Sorry to tell u that i am not familiar with how to change cover neither do i know the price. May be some other guys can help.
For the second question, well, unless u really need a radio, infra red and a joystick, i think it may be better to go for 6630. Well, 6630 kind of bulky looked though and not so suitable for girl/lady. If non of these matter.... u should get 6630 for better sound, faster processor and nice camera/video (with variable zoom, i.e. smooth zooming)

and what do you think is much better?
a n3230 or a n6630.. coz im planning to buy
a phone for my cousin...

3230 model sound very poor i like 6600 that sound effect is very good sound quality improve this particluar model radio only one band can possible other band
