TC.. I hve a ques... coz my 3230 have a
small scratch on screen.. so is the front
cover changeable or not and how much it cost??
and what do you think is much better?
a n3230 or a n6630.. coz im planning to buy
a phone for my cousin...

3230 model sound very poor i like 6600 that sound effect is very good sound quality improve this particluar model radio only one band can possible other band

The front cover can be removable:
Try to flick the "U" plastic on the back side of the phone (above the camera in left and right corners).
Under the "U" plastic are 2 hidden screws.

I try to use PC Suite by Nokia to Sync with Microsoft Outlook, with blueetooth or infrared, just cant do it.
Wondering which version of PC Suite is suitable? Your advice will be greatful.

Hi all....
I plan to buy the 3230. Have heard that the phone has some issues with the software. Any pointers... also can the front panel be removed like the other nokia phones?
Any suggestions wuld be welcome.... thanx

Not too bad a phone. Strange thing is that Nokia have disabled the Internet sharing via bluetooth on Symbian v7.
Base on www.dotdoh.com/btshare.html it seems that there is a way to go to enable sharing still.

Anyone else who had ur 3230 firmware upgraded? Wow does it really exist? That's a big jump from V3 to V4 if it really exist. But from our friend's posting, it seems that it's not a very good upgrade coz still very buggy eh. Anyone in Malaysia got new upgrade?

Wow i think i'm being over "rated". I'm in no way a pro coz i only started to use 60 series phone and come to know symbian stuff late April this year. That's when I bought my 3230 hahaha.
Hey guys, can anybody recommend and answer that person on whether 3230 more worth it or 6681 more worth it. Well, for me i think i would go for better one if money is not so much a concern. But 6681 seems like half legged o. Y not 6680? How much $ different?? 6680 is 3G, 6681 is not... rite?
Hmm, I wonder how much will N70 be and when will it be out... sorry pal i can't say much coz i don't have 6681 or 6680 or any other phone. Hard to compare.

guyz an eye opener for u all da nokia 3230 fone comes equipped with a 123mhz processor while all da latest nokia 66 series fones come equipped with a 223 mhz processor ; and this is wat makes m a lot more faster and stable .....u can check all such details on ur fone by installing an application by da name of "about" which is available on www.dotsis.com/vb for free

ok.. i just to compare to my 6600. i havent yet own this phone but the only thing i know this 3230 can't transfer the messaging option to MMC card which means if someone try to send data thru Bluetooth is bout 6mb it can be send!! quite dispointed lah...

I dont think I want to buy this model.I rather choose N6670 because the phone more stable.Furthermore a lot of software (.sis) and (.jar) can be installed on 6670 without problem compared with this model.Well you better think about it.66xx series mean business series.Business series mean more stable phone.More stable phone means smart phone.

Hi
I sold it after 45 days! and I lost 80$ Ringing vol is very low and its buzzer is very weak.
LCD gets dust and yuo cant do any thing. for cleaning you have to go service center.every month
buttons are rigid and in day light you cant see words easily.
refresh frequency of LCD is ver low and after a while gets lower and worse.
Dont Buy it specially for its ringing Volume.

i bot dis phone in april..haven upgrade its firmware..wonder if it's still unstable..

ya i'm from SG, it does removed the beep sound away and it also vibrate in slient mode now too. Better sound with headset on but nothing change to the load speaker.
Anyway my main concern is the volume control, volume for MP3 remind constant after receiving incoming or outgoing made.
