I bought the phone on ebay.
I think this phone is from ASIA so
i don't think Nokia Canada will
fix it as i'm in Toronto. I will
try those phone repair places in
Toronto i guess. If it was dust,
the keys should work sometimes, but
not even once can it react. i'm so
hurt right now as i just got this phone
And i 'm not going to deal with the
ebay seller cause i already had many problems with him about the delivery.
I"m so lost. I love this phone :(

This fone is a lot like the T610.. Nokia lacks creativity..

hi to all, for those who have this n3230 may i ask if there is a zoom in the camera of this phone, if there is howmany times it will be....i really appreciate ur responce.thnaks! im planning to buy it too..:)

URGENT help.
today i try to recharge the phone and for some reason it acted as if it was pressing the number "2" on the keypad by itself. so i shut it off. and since then no response when i press the # 2... can someone help me PLEASE? is it a software problem? it can't be dust cause i only had it for a week! HELP.

Hi, does anybody know why some jar games don´t work? I have downloaded a lot of .jar games already and many of them just don´t work.
Some of them don´t start and other freeze when you are playing for a while. :(
Arem´t all .jar games suppossed to work on our symbian?

N-G: simply wait till the latest firmware is up.. oh ya for your info, my phone don't restarts...
Anuj: either software version or driver version for nokia phones.
Anuj: Nokia 3230 is a Smartphones whereas Nokia 6230i is an ordinary phones... you can't compare the both of which together.. Smartphones allows adding new applications into phones whereas 6230i functions like K750i - both phones doesn't supports that sort of functions.. which makes it dead.. that means whichever applications the phones has, it means you couldn't add in additional .

i have this phone for two weeks and it wont stop restarting itself... it always "hang" when i try to open one or two aplication. I went to the cust.service and they said that this phone has no problem in it..when I returned back home, it started to "hang" again... duh? i don't recomend this phone.. it's a defect product..
now i have to find another phone...

3230 can use normal and dual voltage rc-mmc.... cause i have tested it.... but some phones can only use the dual voltage mmc eg 6630..

i'm quite confused, some forums say 3230's MMC should be RS-DV(dual voltage), others say RS-MMC only. Is there any difference? Or is the phone compatible with both types of MMCs? (dual voltage or not)

3230 does get dust inside the phone but if it starts to get more dust just go to the care center n leave it for an hour max to get it cleaned.... if u put u phone inside the pocket it will sooner or later get dust.... mine started to get dust after around 3 month.... but it's actually not that serious....

Just to clarify with you - the font size and the keylock guard is able to obtain if you have the brains to actually get the wrong application - people like you wants it by default... to me-you ain't using abit of your brain all you do was to whine that your phone sucks.

the gaps between the keys are more so the chances of dust getting accumulated is more in it. but u can always take care of that. dont go for 6230i cause it cant support sis files so u cant load any softwares, if u r a software freak. but for music its better than 3230

this phone sucks. font is so small and there is no keyguard lock and the keys are also very difficult to press. who says the phone is good? I am very disappointed.
