Crazy JM! I knew ur extra post will be deleted. Haha.

Hey my bluetooth adapter spec says transfer rate 723Kbps. I think it's not 22kbps coz that's really slow.

Finally i solved the problem with my 512MB RSMMC.
Not only the card was defective(I got a new one and this time my phone was able to read it and format it) but also my card reader was a piece of cr** unable of reading large memory cards.)
              Thanxs.

Regarding to your post, 1st - the current phoneware doesn't allow us to do a format via the phone, 2nd - try inserting it into your Card Reader > do a format > File System select "FAT". NO Fat32/16 or even NTFS - simply "FAT" :) all the best :)

Card readers with usb 2.0 support are around 12Mbps or firewire (if any) around 50Mbps but bluetooth is around 22kbps and infrared is 4Mbps. But bluetooth and infrared need PC Suite and take a lot of time to bring the file and to start transferring but card readers are of drag and drop format so it should be easy. USB cable DKU-2 is usb 1.1 so its less than 10Mbps but u MUST have
PC suite and system files are hidden.

About the RSMMC thing, its definetely faulty and go to the dealer to replace it.

Can anyone help me? I just bought a 512MB RS MMC and my 3230 nor my card reader can read it. The phone says the card is damaged and the card reader just can´t detect it, so I am unable to format the damn card!!!
Do you guys think the card might be defective?
when you buy a new card is it already formatted?
                        Please I need your help.
                        Thanks in advance.

Nope, card reader is cheaper... at least for me it is cheaper. If u just wanna do simple transfer bluetooth is ok. But if u r thinking putting mp3s and movies then u better get card reader. Transfer rate is at least something like 30x faster??
                          My experience:
                          Bluetooth - 5meg file need about 5~6mins
Card Reader - ~60-70meg about 1 min plus only!

Well, I think it's best to get both hehe. Small file use bluetooth big files use card reader.

                            THANKS for the responses.
the Bluetooth Dongle is better for me as i can use it with alot of devices including future gadgets. (it's cheaper too?)

Just got my 3230 yesterday. Looks great. I find it not as bad as what's described here. A few questions tho. I plan to buy a bluetooth USB dongle to plug to my PC so i can send/rec'd files with my n3230. Now, i wanna know does it matter if i install the PC Suite or not? with the bluetooth?

I wish to know what file extensions are accepted by this phone? i know .sis so far..
and of course midi and amr...

Please advise. Overall this is a good phone. SO PRETTY.
