jian.com.my:
Well, I'm not sure how to judge how significant the "slowness" (if there's such a word) would be. In my opinion, the phone will be slower when u install more program especially those which will run at the background. Also when put more files inside ur memory card, ur phone need to scan through more files or take more time to display the list of files when u browse them. Just like things in ur PC.
Anyway, I got my 512mb (Kingmax) RS-MMC for RM240 about 1 month plus ago. Wa u so lucky u can get 1 at RM180 now. What brand is it?
BTW, I really want to know anybody out there r using 1Gb memory. If yes any problem?

Go get urself a 256mb RS-MMC then. Or 512mb if u don't mind ur slightly slower. Hmm, I wonder if it would take 1Gb RS-MMC coz my 512mb is running out of space!!!

Hi! Does anyone knows how to remove the "beep" sounds before each message or phone calls that comes in? This "beep" sound is still quite loud even though i put the ringing volumn to very soft.

hi everyone ! just found a way 2 have a faster camera response time (native camera). In the camera settings, make sure SHOW CAPTURED IMAGE is in NO. However, u won't get a preview n have 2 access 2 the gallery 2 view those pics.

Aagah:
Sorry pal, I posted the thing u wanted earlier but I think the moderator deleted it. Ur email doesn't seem to be valid so I couldn't email u. The place I suggested is currently down anyway. But u can try dig what u want in the Nokia6630 FanClub.
BTW all the 3230 owner out there, have u guys tried watching movies in our phone using SmartMovie? I know this is nothing new and all other 60 series phone can do that too. Well I recently found out there are actually two types of avi files. The one encoded with DivX codec has very good compression. Picture quality way better than the 3gp or realaudio rm format. And... recently I got myself a few nice movies. Their file sizes ranging from 80mb to 180mb (whole movie). It's cool to watch them on the phone. Good entertainment while u r travelling and got nothing to do!

6600:
I totally agree with Nokia 3230. In my opinion, 3230 superceed 6600 in everyway except 3230's cover cannot be opened and exchanged easily.
I do not think unable to use MMC is a problem. RS-MMC is getting much much more popular now. Some shop don't even sell normal MMC anymore coz the RS-MMC normally comes with an adaptor. With that, the memory can be converted and being used in any MMC phone. For compatibility reason, MMC phone owner should get the RS-MMC coz it will allow them to use it with other RS-MMC phone.
I know 3230 sound is not very good but 6600 is not better. They both sound lousy. But, 3230 can support up to 48 polyphonic and 6600 is only 24 polyphonic.
One more thing, 3230 support EGDE (some refers to enhanced GPRS??) but 6600 doesn't.
Please do not compare 3230 with OS6 phone coz they r of different class. 3230 is the best OS7 phone so far.

Just to let you know that the 3230 supports the installation of 3rd party programs as well - (it works with all symbian handphones.) Just to let you know that your info isn't right.

Nokia 3230 is good, nice camera, great picture quality, plays almost everything, but while playing games, the screen suddenly turnes black and we cannot see anything on the phone, but we can still hear the game sounds...Hmmm" its still going on" this is the big problem in this phone on my openion.

i don't think that a 6600 owner needs to change to a 3230 bcoz they are just nearly d same. d only thing that separates the 6600 and 3230 is that d 6600 is capable of downloading tons of 3rd party applications, exchangeable covers and a notorious nokia symbian phone while d 3230 is a bit new and has radio and a megapixel camera.
6600 can use normal mmc's and rs-mmc (i don't know if itis capable of using dvrs-mmc) while 3230 can only use rs-mmc.
6600 owners can only upgrade to a 6630, 6680, 6681, 6682 and other latest nokia phones.
3230 is just like 6260, 7610 and 3660 with d exception of some few things are nearly d same.
for nokia buyers u choose between:
6600 - 3rd party applications and exchangeable covers
3230 - radio and megapixel camera
