well,just bought my phone 4 abt rm1200 (US$1 = RM3.80) in malaysia after reading thru the reviews..its an OK phone..overall, a 7.8/10..however, i DO think its lacking on its speaker dept. hopefully, something/someone could help fix the mono mp3/beeping b4 call problem n btw, the camera is kinda funny..lol ;p

i think this phone might be able to play mp3 in stereo after some firmware upgrade..
since the radio can be played in stereo..
it means this phone has the hardware to play stereo... but onli through the headphone..
I tried a song that can test for stereo...
It can be played.. but the sound quality is not that gd.. So i can say that this phone can play stereo mp3 becos it plays out both the right and left channels...
however.. the lousy sound quality is becos of nokia... they purposely made the phone in this way becos they don wanna give a 100% phone with all the gd features..
Maybe the ONLY phone they made with all features is n91... the rest lack something..
In 3230.. it lacks the gd quality mp3 playback and some others..
for the time being... i recomment Sony ericsson phones... especially w800i and k750i
They have most features that ppl like...
however they lack something also...

It's a great phone, very good-looking (business style), lots of functions for the best price. Only thing i don't like is that the software is moving a little bit slow.And the polyphonic ringtones are not very clear.Overall, is a premium phone.

simple is that, i read all views, many people have no such nice iq to analyse a feature, but they put a view here, any way, over all its a very very nice balance fone.. no much big problem, and its natural, no set will have 1000% true satisfaction of all people, u can see all sets from top to bottom, all have some +ve and some -ve things as per a person's mind.
so dont b conused, every body has own likingsss

Look for all the links to themes for 60 series. U can get a lot from some of the nice link there but u probably need to register as member (for free) before u can start downloading.

Hay i just brought the nokia 3230 and really like it!! it has this cool interavtive game using the camera and a gr8 camera. This phone has rubish sound though. Does any one know where i can download new Themes to it??

bought one of these couple of weeks back, tidy, small and very reliable. The poor sound output really lets it down, as im a fan of clogging my nokia's up with music.
Should of Invested in the 6630, mono output shouldnt be a spec on nokia's. doesnt really serve its balance with the radio outputing in stereo either??

I think all over the world, Nokia doesn't bundle PC Suite CD with the 3230 package. Most of us downloaded it from Nokia website. If u r lucky, may be ur phone dealer will burn u a copy of the PC Suite for free...
Hmm, good thing recently I got myself broadband at home. Otherwise, it'll take me many many hours to download the whole thing.

Hey guys my NOKIA 3230 did not came with a PC suit or any type of data cables but the mobile itself is really coooooooooool .
i have not tested much of its functions yet .
with all of its functions it comes with a very resonable price

You don't go round downloading the Firmware you head straight to the Nokia Care Center to get them to update for you since i don't think they will release it into the public.

For your piece of info, my Nokia 6600 doesn't hangs and freezes at all let alone reboot. - my Nokia 6600 after a year and a 1/2 of using it it still can last for at least a day due to the cycle rate of the battery is depleting - if you have so much problem with your Nokia 6600 it must be the user fault instead of the phone fault - the user should long ago go get its firmware upgraded.

Yes, u need to install 3rd party software to read all those format.
U can try the one provided by Nokia for their 6680 model. Ur phone will give warning saying that the software may not be compatible when u try to install them. But if u force install it, u can still run the quickoffice. Here where to get it:

I'm not sure why the two version's size is different by so much. But both should work. However, u can only view the file with these I think. U need to get the Premier version to be able to edit the file.
I heard the adobe reader for 6680 also works for other 60 series phone but I haven't try it. May be u can check it out and tell us. :)
