hi everyone: congrats to y'all cuz dis is d most interactive forum in gsmarena.
i got to ask culd anyone plz tell me if theres any application that enables a phone play Radio (if not originally installed on d fone). thax for any assistance.

I got a warning when i try to open an Application "Apps.close" and a BEEP.I dont know how to solve it?give me instruction.Thanks

It's me again..The mp3 player app i've downloaded frm dotsis is Mp3 Player 3.33 [FULL] SMPDA NEW. It says it has stereo playback (if phone supports it). So stereo sound should be played frm stereo mp3 files. Guys, try it. Tell me if it works better k?

Tink i'm d guy u're lookin for?Abt d software for stereo mp3s in 3230? the website is http://www.dotsis.com/vb/. Den scroll down and click on mp3 - OGG music player. There'll be a list of various apps u can download frm.
The thing is: i've tried one of d apps. It sounds much better dan the 3230's player itself. But hw do u guys define stereo sound? I'm sayin d earphones shud be able to play stereo sound frm stereo mp3 files since radio comes out with stereo sound. So it's probably the way in which the phone or external applications handle the mp3 file. Can someone correct me if i'm wrong?

Well, for me even if there's a way to open the cover, I couldn't possibly do it coz it will make my handphone warranty void. So... guess I need to bring to Nokia Care for now until next year april :-(
Hopefully in few months time they come out with a solution, say a replacement seal or something and provide free upgrade to everybody. Anyway or chance to do petition to Nokia?

I just bought Nokia 3230 few days ago,Its reall a great Mobile.It has got everything.The Best thing is that this mobile has Infrared and Visual Radio which other mobiles dont have like (6630,7610,6670,6680,6681).infrared works perfect and bluetooth too.I have found the problem of dust which goes inside it that u guys are saying.Solution is that open the back cover and there will be TWO screws ,open it by using (T6 Screwdriver).You can also change the cover.Covers are Avaliable.
There is a same problem with me that when call comes the beep sounds comes first.Other guys are also saying the same problem.Joystick is little hard (i Dont know about others).Its very Stylishing specially in Black Colour.
Guys if you have any ither problem so plz go to the dealers and update the software because Nokia keeps on changing the Software Version.

the quality sound of the radio is STEREO, but not for MP3.

hy, gaizzz .. pls that guy u few days back told that he got a software from dotsis, to play stereo mp3. pls u or any one can tell exact name, location and link for that software. plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

hey can anyone tell me if the sound quality from the "stereo" headset is as good as the quality of sound from a discman?? cos some ppl here are saying that even that sound may be mono??????

hmmm - how can i send files bigger than 6mb across via bluetooth? it keeps stating Not enough memory to perform operation. Delete some data first. my nokia 6600 could do sending above 6mb but this 3230 doesn't anyone know of any solutions ? the data is stored in Memory Card

Actually is better to say mono sound MP3. It means even if ur mp3 files is encoded in stereo, u only hear mono sound, coz 3230 only has 1 speaker! No Left Right channels.
I think even with the supplied headphone/headset, the sound is still mono. That means the sound coming out from left right earphone are the same.

Guys,In Nokia 3230where is the software for Create your own MIDI ringing tones(On Website they said that there is a software for ringing tone).Secondly where is Kodak Mobile Service ?

I hate this PHONE!!! 10 days after I bought it, the memory card was destroyed. Unlucky for me, I cannot just go to the phone shop anymore because they only have 7 days warranty. I think this is not fair!!! I can't just imagine that a memory card will be easily destroyed though I'm just taking some pictures. This phone sucks. Duh... If only I choose the other phone that I really wanna have, this wouldn't happen. Having this problem is already a big deal for me.. why? Because I'm only a student and I don't have money to buy a new memory card (It's very expensive, you know). One thing also, this phone is a high school graduation gift for me. This is my 1st phone then... ggggrrrr... I hate it!!!

I used this set as my first experience with NOKIA, i found this set alot better than other sony ericson and siemens sets of this range. Its picture quality is good but it is not able to take the real time snap, it takes 3 seconds to take picture after we press the enter. It is very user friendly set, and shape vise it is very dashing. Video editing and picture editing is a plus point in this set.

Guys , if the Joystick of 3230 gets harder (Like mine) So how to fix that Joystick?
Its really very difficult to use it with hard joystick.

I would greatly recommend a 3230 due to its mor e improved functions - but if were to mention stablity, perhaps a 7610 may fit the job. :)
