U bluetooth from another phone or from PC? One of the drawback for nokia phone is when u bluetooth from another phone, they send to ur phone inbox 1st which uses the phone memory. Or was it the RAM?? Anyway, u will be having problem bluetooth-ing (hehe new vocab) big files over.
If it is from the PC then did u check properly where u dumping the files. Memory Card is at drive E. BTW, bluetooth is really slow when u r talking about MP3 or movies. One of the better solution is, go get a card reader and transfer direct to ur memory card. It's much much faster! I copied a 90+mb avi file over in about 1min plus!! Well if u r transfering from another phone... that's too bad. What u need to do is get the file to ur PC and then transfer to ur phone.

You can't use 3230 radio without antenna. In fact earphone cable is an antenna. If you buy a cheap earphone, cut its cable about 40 cm then you can carry it very easily.

To solve phone memory message problem you must use software named MsvdriveE.sis. This software puts every message in MMC card.

hi guys few days back i brt a nokia 3230 mobile the mobile is exellent and only problem i felt is whenever the earphone is connected the radio is working in speakerphone itself,for all the places i can't take the earphone also with me,so anybody plz tell me is it possible to play radio without connection the earphone the the mobile.plz email me

Today ..i buy 3230 and i find it superb its feature its style evrything ..but i have got one problem during transfer a song via bluetooth it gives error that memory is full but i havn't use its memory ...i dont know what to do ..plz help me :(

Hi,i think the phone is good in terms of features,but the software is extremely slow.Atleast once a day u need to switch it on-off to make the software work much faster.Any idea what is the solution.My memory card is also empty

Hate those people who bought the phones without reading it specs about a mono mp3player and keeps whining like a !!!
Please infuture before you purchase a phone, look at its specification first - if it doesn't suits you - don't purchase it
And to those who keeps saying 6230i is better - go post it at 6230i phone opinion instead of here.

Similar to dotsis, u need to get register for free.
Software posted there are not as updated as dotsis normally but still ok. However, anyone who interested to look for nice themes can spend ur time there. (Forum -> Themes)
Available here as well are movies (yes, full length movies... in avi format) but I haven't got a chance to download yet. Need to join a special group b4 u get to download. But there's a special clause to qualify for the group.
BTW, who ever likes turn-based rpg/strategy, go get Ancient Empirer 2. Real cool game. Strongly recommended. But don't blame me for ur sleepless nite ok. Available at dotsis. I think the above-mentioned site also got it.

have u noticed that no other phone nokia has manufactured these days has an infrared except 3230 and 6600

There's another program which do the same call FSCaller. But picture wise worse than SmartCom. Up to u to choose.

Nokia 3230 is a great piece of Nokia,it has got everything,nothing is wrong in this mobile but the worst thing is that Mono MP3.
It sound Sux Really! Its not good for MP3.
If u guys want good Stero MP3 go for N-Gage or 6230i.These both have the best sound in mobiles even better than any other Mobile Brand.
Advantage of N-Gage is that you can put your own headphones(earphones) which improves more sound.

the link u gave is only the remote control program for symbian 60, OS6.1 phone and not mobile firmware.
BTW, does it work for ur phone? coz 3230 is running OS7 and very often those OS6 program not compatible with our phone.
