Hi guys,
wanted to ask something...
The music '.rm' extension files take very less space in memory, usually less than 1MB. I wanted to know, if this phone has real player like the 6600, so that I can play those files too, along with MP3 that take around 4MB. Any other players or the default one supplied with it play the '.rm' files?
and also any idea of a graphic equaliser feature available in it.
Thanks guys,
Hope u guys answer it.

Rheuter, iSync does not work with the 3230 nor many of the other new phones these days. That's because iSync doesn't work with SyncML.
That will change with OS X Tiger, due out next week. Looking at the phones that Tiger will support however, 3230 is not on the list. I don't know why. Logically, it should work. Perhaps Nokia simply hasn't provided Apple with an updated list.
In the meantime, you can send and receive files between the mac and 3230 using OS X's built in bluetooth app. If you need to transfer contacts to your phone from address book, export your contacts in vCard 2.1 format instead of 3. Then import it on the 3230 using this symbian app called SmartvCard (free trial available). Works like a charm!

By installing the ultramp3 or any 3rd party software... the quality of music is better than the default...
however, it is still not in stereo..
I don think this phone can ever play music in stereo...
unless there is an upgrade which nokia will inform..

I did search using the keyword "iSync" or "Mac" but has no relavent result, so here we go:
Does anyone has this phone and have it iSync with Mac via Bluetooth? If so can it be done? If not is there any 3rd party software to sync this phone with Mac?
Many thanks!

TO THOSE WHO ASKS QUESTIONS WITH ISSUES THAT HAVE BEEN DISCUSSED/HIGHLIGHTED/SHARED BEFORE, YOU'RE TOTALLY NOT RESPECTING THOSE WHO HV DISCUSSED SUCH BEFORE!
Make an effort to read those previous posts before asking! You'd get a very very clear idea and a better understanding of the issues.

1)everytime call in or sms in there will be a beeb before the ringing tone...2)when i put on silent mode where i set "off" for msg tone, vibrate "on".. the phone wont vibrate everytime sms in. so, in silent mode, there is no alert for sms coming. no vibrate and of course no tone(silent mode). Anybody facing this situation or my 3230 got problem.

I am having a strange problem, the messaging delivery reports are on in my phone. When I clear all the delivery reports, it shows "No Report". But the moment a new report arrives , all the deleted reports come back again. I have tried restarting the phone several times, restoring the original fone settings, but nothing worked. Anyone else having similar problems ?

i luv the way u guys dissin those who repeat the questions over n over again...hahaha
anyways..what i find confusing on most cellphone forums is that users dont normally state the phones they hav been using. u kno we hav to use subjective words like 'confusing' n 'not good quality' and not absolute numerical values. so if i like 7650 joystick, 5-way BUTTONS could be troublesome and 6670 keypad could be 'user friendly' and 7610 not.
bottom-line: whatever feature u like or dislike please always state in comparison with the phones u hav been using
