Nokia should learn a thing or two to what happen to Sony. Coming out with phones that are feature pack but ugly in design, to put it mildly, like this 3230 will not help in the sales department. If nokia continue to come out with this kind of design, they will definitely be Samsung's next victim after they succesfully routed Sony.

      Hi friends,
It has been a couple of days since i had the 3230 & there is this problem i am facing while tranfering images taken from the phone on to the PC usin IR...the transfer hangs durin the process for some pics & i cannot transfer that particular picture usin IR on to the PC..the only way i was able to do that was after transferin them onto my 6230 & then from 6230 to the PC..
I have an IR port no bluetooth on my PC..I am tellin u this because I am sure some of U would suggest i buy a bluetooth dongle for the PC..But i think i shouldnt have any problem usin IR...
Are any of u facin this problem..If so then it would become a Firmware related bug..

The PSP has better specs than that.

Also, the PSP definitely has a bigger screen that's capable of displaying more vibrant colors.Knowing nokia, the N-Gage 2 will only be capable of 65k colors,256k if they are generous.

Most importantly, the PSP has the support of game developers. The N-Gage 2 will turn out to be even more of a failure without game developer support.

                for koshita
the battrey life is shorter because our talk time is more than 2 hrs and also when u leave blue tooth on using blooth tooth head phones it consume more battery and that why compare to nokia6630its battrey is shorter
                regards

                    For navendu:
I did what u said: I opened Real player, click on Options and there is no Edit tones, all I have is Open, New track list, Download, Settings, About product, Help and Exit. I'm using Nokia Rm-51 firmware. But my question was about the Java application that Nokia says on their website (www.nokia.com/nokia/0,8764,65363,00.html, see java applications) is installed in the phone.
As for my battery, I charge the phone every two days and between charges I have 3 hours of radio, one hour mp3 player, a little bit of bluetooth, some games and 1 hour of talk time. Also I haven't found any of the bugs mentioned on this forum.

                        For navendu kumar:
I've read the manual twice (completely) and I didn't find any mention of Tunes Studio. Also I've cheked the menu of the phone very carefully and I didn't find it also. So it's not a silly question.
Perhaps you can tell us if it's installed or not if you say that you bought the phone (and you've read the manual).

Concerning your battery life, read carefully the section regarding the battery in the Nokia user's manual. Maybe you've missed something at the begining.

Can you use the nokia bl-5c battery with the 3230 to increase talk times. The bl-5b and 5c look the same size and shape. Does anyone know

                                hi freinds
I agree that people dont have habit of reading the phone manual properly and then ask silly questions well it is understood if u dont understand any question but without reading the manual people have bad habit of asking the things which appears some times to be very much silly

I bought nokia3230 and have following commnets

battery life is very short dont even works for a day
the phone is over all good and also the functions are good and preety well organised and that is what makes this phone a true phone in its class and also at cheap rate

also phone has almost all function of nokia6630 so a true value money phone except 3g services

I have update for u nokia is releasing 10 3 g phones in 2005 so get ready for 2 pixles phone from nokia this is latest news from nokia dubai and that makes nokia think from competition and people are benifited well good after long time nokia is finally launcing nokia 6687 a 2 mega pixle phone only confirmed news but no picture waiting to see this 2 mega pixle phone from nokia

will update more to u about this
                                regards

A question for the 3230 owners: did you manage to find in the phone the Tunes Studio application that lets you compose your own ringtones? On my phone it isn't installed (contrarely of what is specified on the Nokia website).

does tat mean u gonna stay away from windows n macintosh as well
