i wanna know.. is there any comand how to restore my phone? i cant find on the setings how to restore my mobile eh ... i wanna delete all the numbers on the phone book etc. help me out pls how to restore my phone. wats the command. thanks

The 3230 ph0ne have n0 remedy for auto restart ! even if u upgrade the latest firmware. I think the i.c. , ram , cpu , etc. Of this ph0ne have a tremend0us sick that have n0 remedy

Hi to all the users of Nokia 3230, well i do have some problems with my cellphone, it suddenly shuts down itself and when your texting it takes time to continue the message when you're receiving an incoming text message, next is, the subsequent hang ups and the dust accumulated on the screen, its very frustrating when you're trying to clean your phone though and keep it away from dust, i cant do that and I need to bring the phone to a service shop to have it cleaned.
What really bothers me most is that the phone hangs up when its used at full speed like you're sending text messages to multiple recipients, it really takes time to have it sent all.
Another thing is the camera, and while taking pictures is my hobby, i find it so disgusting as well when you're about to take a picture and it takes about 5 seconds before its captured, a lot of things happen in 5 seconds though, but anyway as to other features of my phone its actually great, its just that they might as well need to be very particular with the features soon.

Hello, for those nokia 3230 users who are currently experiencing problems about the phone speed, I'm pretty sure it's because your messages are stored in the phone memory and not in the memory card. Deleting all messages in the phone memory and storing them in the memory card will make the phone run a lot faster. But to do that, you'll have to install the application MSVDriveE so that incoming messages will be directly transferred to the memory card. The data size more than 1.5MB cannot be downloaded by GPRS.
Same problem is with bluetooth also because of low phone internal memory.
The data vide bluetooth cannot be directly downloaded to memory card... big disadvantage.
No FM ercording.
It has poor sound recording capability.
Images and video if capture under zoom mode or night mode gives poor quality of images and clips.
Even joystick becimes stiff after a few months use.
The fron cover and back cover once removed for repair after unscrewing may damage the screwing slot, so you may have to buy new front and back cover set costing around $22.
For inserting or removing memory card you have to open back cover.
Once the phone has been repaired there is a problem of dust entry into the underneath of phone screen.
USB Cable and CD for Nokia PC Suit has to be bought separately.
Last but not the least, this phone is a complete waste of money and time and I repent for buying it.

this is the coolest phone i have ever used with only one drawback-the messages cannot be made to go to the memory card so large blue tooth files cannot transfer but over all 3 from 5 stars
