this is the coolest phone i have ever used with only one drawback-the messages cannot be made to go to the memory card so large blue tooth files cannot transfer but over all 3 from 5 stars

    this phone is quite nice but the seakers are the problem.The 3110c is another problem because of it's music player which keeps updating till jesus comes .if u can help me on the 3110c pls send an E-mail to me[chatwithabimbola@yahoo.com]

      it is avearage but it's earphone shot is very much poor as per using more it becomes looses

        Hi all.I am using Nokia 3230 from the last 1 year.And I think this is a veryy very BAD phone I ever seen.
        In this period of 1 year,I visited 25-30 times for the problem of RESTARTING & HANGING.
        Infact this is my 3rd set(2Changed by Nokia),but all have the same problem.So,anyone looking for it,Please don't consider this set.

          Eyarowen, 01 Jun 2008The EDGE feature of Nokia 3230 depends on the network service....No. The EDGE can only be used for dloads. So, u can stream videos or get faster browsing speed with it.

            i bought n0kia 3230 2 weeks ago..
            well..it's really a good phone..
            but my probLem is the battery life..
            i can only use my phone for 5hrs. and recharge it for almost 8hrs...

            can anyb0dy tell me what's the problem of my phone? is it the battery or the charger?

              Hi All,As per my experience Nokia 230 is the VERY BAD model.If anybody plans to buy it,Please don't even consider it otherwise you will be n Nokia care in evry month.
              I have used 3 phones of this model which company gives me as replacement for the bad one,all are BAD.All are HANGING,RESTART.

                II. Symbian Phone OS Ver 7.0s

                The Nokia 3230 is a symbian phone version 7.0s. And when we say Symbian OS Phone, it means flexible, customizable and user friendly and capable of multitasking. You can also install many programs such as games and so on. It is also compatible with JAVA Apps and games.

                III. General Comments

                A. The Good
                1. It has Symbian OS.
                2. Average Camera Quality
                3. Many improvements on the features compared with previous versions.

                B. The Bad
                1. Good Sound Quality (it must be better)
                2. Lack of phone memory (less than 6mb only)

                IV. Conclusion

                Overall, 3230 is an average phone. But for me, it's the best though we know that many latest phones today are more superior or much better than this phone. It only depends on how the user will value the phone that he/she has. thus, learn to be content.

                        just place your headphones in phone, and start the fm aplication,just ignor any note and then u can use the FM radio easliy

                                  I used this phone for nearly a year. After two months of purchase, the phone had problems of restarting. But i ignored it, as it was not frequently. As months passed, the phone performance went bad and at times, it used to restart more than 20 times a day. I no longer use this phone. This is one of the LEMON from Nokia

                                        I personally think that 6600 is better than 3230 since i have used both for nearly an year.3230's camera is poor and GPRS capability is very slow
