Hi All,
Anyone tried dialing a number from the phone and speaking and listening thru the computer microphone and speaker. There is a way to do so, install widcomm Bluetooth software and detect your phone via Bluetooth then if you click the "My Bluetooth places" on your desktop you will find the services available for your Nokia 3230, in that you will find a service called "High Quality Bluetooth Audio Gateway" Just double click on that and it will establish the connection with your phone. Once that successfully done you will get a prompt in your phone. Now just dial the number (Or incoming calls) you will be able to hear thru the computer Speakers and use the computer MIC for speaking. Quality is excellent. If you play any mp3 (or Radio) in the phone it can be heard in the computer speakers.(Quality is Not as good as You hear the phone headphone)
Using the same software you can browse internet in the phone (If internet available in the pc) over Bluetooth. This one I couldn’t do successfully. But I believe this can be done, in so many forums it’s mentioned this will work.
Note: When using "widcomm Bluetooth software" You will not be able to connect with PC suite over Bluetooth. You will have to uninstall "widcomm Bluetooth software" for doing so.

so i've some questions for this 3230
1. is there something change/update/upgrade after established i.e. firmware etc. what benefit i got after that?
2. is there some s/w to play mp4
that's enought for now!

Hi,
Can we hear mp3 songs by using bluetooth headset with better quality? Normally I am getting problems to hear mp3 songs when i use buletooth headset.

Yes, 3230 support 1Gb. I mentioned that just on the last page. In fact I've mentioned it many many pages back. I'm using 1Gb MMCmobile for four months now. And just to be clear again, I've 95% of my card filled with software, movies, photos, mp3 and so on.

Hi Ram,
Call Conference is available in 3230 via Push To Talk Facility. PTT is available in 3230 Mobile. But I never used this facility. So I cannot assure you that PTT will work in 3230 Mobile. Just for your info, I heared that PTT works only on other PTT mobiles.

i have had 3230 for 7 months now, it's a nice phone but i'm fed up- i want an upgrade which has got to Nokia or SE. It's mono mp3 output is killing me and i recently bought a 1GB mmc and loaded it with app. which has further reduced it's speed.
I want to know if 6630 supports 1GB and how good is it's mp3 sound. Any1 with useful info could reply via my email = chuker2002@yahoo.com i'm anxiously anticipating ur reply. Thanks

What i tried is S60 professional remote it was meant for pc.And i am trying to figure out the internet over bluetooth i got so many tutorials all are telling it work flawless.Will let u know if it works
