Hi Simon George Mandy,

Once you install this Msgdrivee.sis file in your mobile your Existing SMS's will be hidden in memory. If you want to access those SMS you have to remove external memory card from your mobile and restart. Otherwise you cannot access existing sms's stored in phone memory.

Psiloc Ir Remote control is used to control multimedia devices like DVD, TV, CD Player etc. Its works like a remote control. But I am unable to control TV thru this utility in my home. Do you know the steps? Are you able to control TV thru this utility? If so, please give me the steps to do that.

I have installed msgdrivee.sis in my mobile (Nokia 3230). Its working fine without any problem. only thing is I lost my existing SMS's.. But for me no problem. I belive that This is very useful tool.

God Bless All Of You

        Hi Simon George Mandy,

Regarding Internet connection thru mobile I don't know much. What I know I expressed already. I remember if my memory is not bad, you told me you have installed MSGDriveE.Sis file which directly transfers the sms into external memory Inbox. Once it is done you get large size of SMS from other mobile.
I hope I answered for your query.

        God Bless All Of You.

          Hi Nanda,

I am using an internet which requires to dial to the isp,but not thru telephone i am dialling thru my NIC.Do you have any idea how to do this ?is there detailed tutorial available? An one more thing is that..As our phone memory is only 6mb we will be able to recieve only max 6mb file from another phone as it is coming as SMS and sms cannot be stored directly to Memory card is there any way to over come this so that we can recieve files more that 6mb and store it directly to the memory card

          Regards

            Hi Simon George Mandy

I Think it is possible if you have dialup connection, but not if your pc is using proxy, i.e, if internet is connected thru proxy but not direct dial-up connection then it is not possible. But if your pc connected thru dial-up then I think it is possible.

I read once long ago that its possible to connect my phone to the internet via bluetooth thru my pc's internet connection. Does anyone know just how this can be done?

3230 has a poor speaker is an undeniable fact. It's simply incomparable to SE phone as well as 6630, 6230i, 6680 etc. Sound quality coming out of headset is ok but there's too much background noise (hiss sound) so i don like it at all. But it sound really cool when played thru a bluetooth handsfree... just a bit too soft (not loud enough) that's all.

Personally I still think 3230 is the most wonderful model so far. I really like everything it got. I wish Nokia can come out with a model that keeps every features and design the same but only upgrade the processor to the 233Mhz version (and running OS8) and put in a better speaker.... that would really really be cool. Too bad newer phones r starting to run OS9 and have heard so much bad things about OS9...

Excellent mobile set with extraordinary out look, one of the most good looking mobile so far launched by Nokia.
WEAKNESS: Soft wear not very much functional and easy to use.
                          Hand grip isnot very good.

                            Hi ,

I dont know why people are telling the mp3 quality is bad. Please use ur headsets and plese dont convert the 128 or 192 kbps mp3's to a lower speed rate that will kill the quality and do use headphones the quality is excellent i agree that phone speaker volume is less..I recommend this phone to all who wish to buy a series 60 phone for a good price

                            Regards

Install SmartMovie and then u can play avi files in full screen.

Sorry i don't know how much price diff is it now. I only know I got mine (Kingston 1Gb MMCmobile)back in January for RM290 and now some places are selling for less RM180....really can not believe it! (BTW I'm from Malaysia)

Performance huh, yes and no... basically when u installed too many programs, it'll get slow. When u put too many mp3s, it takes time for some software to read and add the files to the playlist. So common sense tells u it'll get slow definately. But I think it's acceptable. Really didn't notice much difference from when I was using 512mb RS-MMC... in my opinion, be careful what software u install and that will solve most of the performance problem. Don install those program that runs in the background if u don really need to use them or else u'll have plenty of software loaded in the memory and start slowing things down.

RS-MMC or RS-DV-MMC... well nowadays their price r like what... almost the same?? Basically 3230 can not use the DV features of the MMCmobile at all coz it's running at 3.3V. But since the price is almost the same, it's good to get the DV version (MMCmobile) for two reasons. 1, u can share ur card with friends who have newer phones. 2, u can use back the card if in any case u upgrade to newer phone that only support the DV card.

Which company... can't comment much... the more popular brand available at my place are Kingston, Transcend & Kingmax. But until now i only know Kingston and Transcend has 1Gb version of their MMCmobile.

Hope i've answer ur questions. Cheers

It was a good phone, but turned bad as the network on the phone was lost and NOKIA ( India), cud not do anything to get it repaired. They did tk the phone several times but always were unable to get it fixed and finally i hd to do away with this phone.
                                      > Hope NOKIA (India)gets better.
