As beautiful as this phone is,the audio is so bad,initially the audio was alright,if it rings now hardly you can hear the sound.Why is it so,it is too expensive compare to it cost,i didnt enjoy it at all.I regret buying it.

Alrighty...I just got a 3230 after reading the reviews and specs. It seems like a fantastic phone and I got it for a fantastic price ($240USD brand new). I will keep everyone posted on my experience with the phone.

i'm the nokia diehard fan and now i'm using n3230 and feel that this is best cell i ever had.

The problem with this phone is the joystick and the keypads..Its so hard! well, my borther Jed is using it now..I switched to Sony Ericsson..a more durable and reliable brand

the features of this phone is likely the same with Nokia 6260. but,the camera this phone is more pwerful than 6260.Tnx

To comfirm ur problem...maybe u can change ur sim card to other phone...if in other phone u can send sms, mayb u have problem with phone...but if in other phone still cant send sms...mayb problem with ur sim card...so contact ur provider...

i read almost all the opinions abt 3230 and got confused..actually i am looking forward to buy this mobile..
Can anybody giude me what shall i do..does this phone really have any kind of problem or its just the result of mishandling....i'll be more than happy to c the answer..

Hey there...3230 is really fantastic...i have one problem though...I can't send sms for the last 2 months..I've tried turning it on and off but nothing happened..how do I fix it? thank you very much and all the best...

if you want recieve your inbox messages to MMC please install MSVDRIVE to your 3230. this is small application only 1 kb.

well this phone has a problem with its battery life. when used together with its memory card, the battery tends to drain faster than without the memory card. sigh...

I readed your comments about the speaker on the phone,i agree its not loud,but listen if you are not satisfied buy you aoriginal nokia stereo headset it will rocks.The speakers are 0,5 Wats and its very useful.

Hi! I am from Singapore! Nokia 3230's camera great! Can play MP3 but sometime cannot control volume... Performance abit slow foe me! Always hang... Need to upgrade software right? I not using 3230 now...

Is it true that firmware update to the latest version can improve the mp3 sound quality? Beacuse i think this fone's sound is too bad even when i compared it with 6600 or 6630

Viking MP3 player does not have any issues in my 3230. However I still prefer WMA Plus 1.2 It allows to play .wma (windows media audio) files. WMA files can be compressed to 1/5th of the size of a MP3. The quality diminishes but since the 3230 speaker is small hence it makes no difference. I do have some .mp3 songs also. Reducing the size to .wma is good because 1 MP3 file needs 6 MB encoded at 128kbps or higher. But a 32kbps .wma file needs only 1 to 1.2 MB. Hence a 512 MB RSMMC Card can hold close to 470-480 .wma songs !!! The idea is to listen to music. For quality music you have your music system. Usually I have a good collection of soft songs which are melodious. Besides 3230's mono speaker produces soft sound because it kills high shrill treble sound found in 6680/6681/N70 etc) and because its speaker cannot play high frequency treble. This makes listening to soft melodious songs even more enjoyable on the 3230. Nokia may have thought that it is giving less in this phone, but you got it wrong Nokia. It's really great. I feel reluctant to exchange my 3230 for a higher end Nokia. I may buy a higher end Nokia later when their prices come down to "actual and real" prices, but certainly I am not going to give my 3230's soft sounds and multi function features and great color / saturation / brightness ratio eben in 65K colours.
For Camera softwares, if you install any other camera softwares then the original Nokia camera application ceases to function. Hence I removed all of such camera applitions. I use Photorite SP 5.2.2 which functions without any problem in the 3230. It has 8x zoom also and some funny lenses and mirrors effects which is really great. It lets the nokia default camera application also work simultaneously. Which is how it should be.
Installation of too many softwares sometimes leave default Nokia applications inactivated, which is not recommended because the default Nokia apps are meant to do their tasks perfectly. So if you find some default Nokia apps stop functioning, then immediately remove those apps.
I like that people are going in for this phone by reading these reviews. It's money well spent which is what matters most, but only if you know how to handle a smart phone, okay?

H i m Abdullah, there is a problem with my 3230.i hav bought this fone last week.it use to restars regularly.But than i Upgraded it firmware version to 5.06. but after that i has restarted 3 times.but from 3 days it has't restarted.Plz anyone tell me what to do.Do i sale it.Plz i m in troble.Bye
