hey folks i bought the nokia 3250 a mth now and its workin fine for me real loud and stuff nice pic quality it rebooths a bit but thats ok, but one problem can u convert mpg files into flash files and try to play it in the flashplayer program/ cuz i did that and it still not play and the smartmovie player is playin in slowmotion i hate 3gp files avi are cleaner please tell me wat to do...

i waz so close to getting this then with all its bad disadvantages i decided TO GO FOR 6233 INSTEAD BOTH THE XFACTOR FONES

hey viperkid what software are they that can play avi play mp4 files? or do i have to update my 3250,cuz i installed the smartmovie and it played real slowmotion and flashplayer files that i have converted are not opening.. please reply thnx

i also experienced problem like u..i dont know why this phone cannot display the name of caller although I had save the name..
but i know how to fixed it..for example,0123936493 calling me..the screen will shows +60123936493 instead of the callers name..+6 number is my country code(malaysia)..so I change the number save inside my h/p with additional of the country code +6..then after that the caller name appears at my h/p..my conclusion is this phone cannot differentiate the country code. so we must add country code whenever we save the callers number so that the name can be display when they call us...

Hey, I bought this phone and whenever someone calls, their number shows up instead of their name. Does anyone know how to change this? I went to contacts menu and settings menu and i could not find a way to do it. thanks for any advice you can give.

b4 transferrin to ur phone, make a folder on file mgr on ur microSD named "Flash Files" or whatever name u like, u can then transfer flash files (.swf) in dat folder. juz go to ur file mgr and to dat folder f u like to play them! also, go to gallery and make a folder "Flash Games" in d video tab and move all flash files found on d video tab in dat new folder (3250 recognizes flash files as videos..) so separating em is a good thing so u will not b confused which is which..

as of now only d sms accelerator is officialy provided by nokia, but very soon 3250 will b included in this page so we don't hav d go to service centers to upgrage firmware!

oh yeah ur right! i juz visited official N3250 support page, and its there, u can download d sms accelator! for every1 hu has problem in sending msgs, i recommend SMS accelator, u can download it here and install it on ur phone!

I have tried SMS Accelerator on my phone and it does not have any message langging problem anymore..so i think u should try this software..dont be scared be bcoz this software is made by nokia and it would not give anyharm to ur phone..:)

I found that SMS Accelerator software is available on N80 and N93(both are using simbian v3) web page at Nokia official website..so I think this message lagging problem is due to simbian v3 firmware..this is new firmware and i think there will some problem occurs when we use this firmware.not all phone,but SOME...

Everyphone has strength and weakness.And that's relative; depends on what you exactly need and how you use your phone.
I'll give you example,
a smartphone can mean goed for people that have time to play with their handphone,to take application and to take antivirus etc (they will say 3250 is better).But for other type people who don't have many times,they will say that too slow,not practice etc (they will say W700 is preferred).
It's better and fair if you also ask to W700 forum, than you can get opini from both sides.
And the best if you have friends who use 3250 and W700, so you can try by yourself (especially for your taste music) and make your decision.
I'm personally choose nonsmartphone,because I don't need that and I feel the sound from SE is better than Nokia.Once again this is personally.

I havent tried it out though, but thanx for posting it!
Oh and one more thing, there's that SIS application, BEST TASKMAN, for s60 3rd edition cells(you had posted the link for it earlier).
I just realised,that if the trial version gets over,then to RE USE it, you simply re-install it!!(uninstall it first,then install the file again.) .It works for the trial period again!!
Once that trial period is over, again, uninstall it, and then reinstall it, and voila- it'll work for another 15 days!!!
Could you post the link again(for those who want to try it) and mention this bug too?
