i recommend 3250 than W700 bcoz 3250 has more supported formats like eAAC+, wma, ram/rm and lots more! plus d latest nokia pc suite is far more functional unlike SE's disc2phone software which is not yet updated meaning converting/transferring some m4a, wma is not really dat feasible! also, if ur considering OS, 3250 has d latest 9.1 symbian ver, d fastest S60 to date yet, u'll hav lots of downloadable games/apps up for grabs juz around d corner u will not get bored with 3250 coz there r lots happenin when u hav a symbian phone than a normal phone! oh another crucial music feature of d 3250 is its ability to search thru a big collection of tracks unlike W700 dat can't do d searching (by typing first letters of d title..) and 3250 has virtually endless phonebook capacity and message storage! don't forget, 3250's loudspeaker is definitely clearer and louder than dat of W700, juz don't take my word for it, hear it urself! both supports pluggin in ur favorite type of earphone, so sound quality more or less d same.. and please take into consideration, d joystick on d W700 is fragile (as previous SE phones like K750, K500 etc..) juz giv it 1 month and u'll notice malfunction and for sure within 6 months it will b totally screwed!

yup, u can! actually, it help me alot in takin pics of myself together with a celebrity perfectly! i loved dat stuff dat i think my next phone wil b only N30 (if ever) with twisting keypad too to take self pics easily unlike others w/ tiny mirror.. re white balance, it's a camera effect/feature where u can adjust d skin tone (when takin pic on incandescent/flourescent/sunny environment/light source) to adjust to d best possible quality image, to b more realistic.. pre installed firmwares 3.18, 3.21 and 3.23 has this feature but once u upgrade ur firmware this feature is malfunctioning! firmware 3.28 may b able to fix dat problem

u can't turn it off. actually u can but, u hav to install "sysexplorer" and run it then go to "Z:\system\sounds\digital" and delete d "camcordercapture.wav" (but b4 doin dat, b sure to copy it first to ur microSD, in case u want it back). take note dat i don't recommend deleting d said file, for 1 coz i don't know if it will hav any negative effect or myt result into errors wen takin pics.. do it on ur own risk

first of all, dat sms accelerator is not recommended for 3250 and besides, when i bought my 3250 it does not hav d message lagging problem (i hav V3.18 firmware back then after dat 3.21 and now 3.23). so i think d problem lies on d unit dat u hav not on d firmware, so i suggest dat u hav it replaced..

re white balance effect on camera, pardon me but, i don't remember i said dat "once u upgraded from 3.21 to 3.23,ur white balance can be used" wat i said before was b reminded dat d white balance effect on d camera is not working on firmwares 3.21 and 3.23 and perhaps this wil b rectified on V3.28 firmware.. i hop i made myself clearly now.. =)

        u said that once u upgraded from 3.21 to 3.23,ur white balance can be used..but my white balance also cannot be used although i have upgrade to 3.23..

          although it is specificly design for N80,it also can be used at 3250..so i hope this can help all of u to fix ur message lagging problem...

              thank u.by the way,i'd been 2 nokia store n they told me that 3250 has lots of problems.also,they told me 2 buy any other fone,but don't buy dis 1.anyway,i'll b buyin dis fone in d next 2-3 days.hope i get a good piece like u've got.keep rockin n helpin..c ya.

                  hi all...can we twist the phone so we can see both the camera and the screen to take self photos(i don't mean video calling..just photos)

                    how r u?i'm frm India.i'll b buyin 3250 in 2 days.yesterday,i went 2 d Nokia gallery 2 ask bout the price n stuff.i was shocked wen the Nokia guys told me NOT 2 buy 3250 coz it has many problems.they told me 2 buy any other fone...wat 2 do now?wat do u think?r there any other options 4 me?i think i'll buy it anyway...

                      if ur usin firefox, juz right click on "Download File" and select "Save Link As"

                      place d file therein only, im not sure wat r d consequences of pasting dat file onto ur system coz we hav different settings, etc. download and paste at ur own risk.. also, b sure dat ur running windows XP SP2.

                      3.21, 3.23 & 3.28 shows d on-screen balance (service commands e.g. *#223#). d 10% less volume on music player was mistakenly perceived by me, (actually i had a terrible cold dat time when i said 3.23 has d 10% lower volume on music player when played on headphones..) juz forget d 10% less volume, dat's just a mistake of me there.. =)

                              Hey viperkid...

                              know what, i just got the pc suite in which you had given me the link.But the music manager (the 'transfer music' option)doesnt work.It gives me the following error:
                              "This application has failed to start because WINHTTP.dll was not found.Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

                              I tried reinstalling it,but i got the same error.Then i manually tried searching for the file 'WINHTTP.dll' , but couldnt find it.Can you please help me?I'm really desperate to try out the music in eAAC+ format.If you have the file , could you post it on mobango?It would help me a helluva lot!!

                              P.S. : the same error came in the previous nokia pc suite too(which was in the nokia cd).

                                i'd been 2 d nokia store 2day 2 enquire bout d price n other stuff.it costs Indian Rs.16,500. gues wat they told me?the guys in d nokia store told me NOT 2 go 4 3250 coz it has a lotta a probs.imagine,the Nokia guys told me 2 go 4 any other cellfone than 3250! they've scared me. but,i think i'll buy it anyway.wat do u think? am i takin a big risk?plz lemme know.coz i'm buyin in d next 2 days.any other alternatives???THANKS!

                                      risks r, u r more likely to get a faulty unit w/ d message lag, not working twist function, memory card can't b read, etc.. but not all phones in d black/grey market hav defects, most of dem has. nokia care wl still upgrade d firmware for u, of course w/ a charge. b reminded, not all 3250 (im referrin to units bought at d black/grey market) will b fixed after a firmware upgrade (like wat owners here who attested) example, i hav V3.23 and i heard some1 here got V3.23 too but she or he still has d msg lag problem which i do not hav at all even when my firmware was 3.18 back april 1! best thing go buy at nokia store directly otherwise test and scrutinize every feature is working 100% like sending several messages b4 u actually pay for it..
