please someone compare 3250 with 7710....many people here wants to read a detailed post of comparission of 3250 with 7710........which one is better.?anyone who used both thease mobiles please post comparission.thanks

      yo i think the best phone u can get now is the n70 but i just want to ask is the 3250 louder than the n70

          ur getting dat msg bcoz 3250 is based on S60 3rd edition which means older apps/games made for 6630, N70, N90, 7610, 3230 will not work with 3250 unless d creator of dat app/game updates it, like what d creator did with SMARTMOVIE! u can download it here:

          then hit TRY IT image, though dat's d only free stuff in dat link..

          juz click d drop down list box on d PC suite (on d right side) and choose memory card then u can transfer d app/game successfully. to make microSD as ur default storage on still/video, activate d camera by twisting after that hit options > settings > video or image and select microSD as ur default storage.

          as of now, GOBOY (emulator for Gameboy and Gameboy color games) is not yet available for S60 3rd ed phones like 3250, N80 etc... all we hav to do is w8 for d ryt time, perhaps b4 d end of d year...

          if u take still pics in good lighting conditions, W800 and 3250 has almost d same quality though W800 takes pics a bit better indoors or places with poor lighting bcoz of its flash and better noise reduction but still with lots of noise. as for video quality, 3250 is definitely d winner.

          here's d equalizer/audio settings, activate it when using d default HS-20 earphones.

              I've noticed that many people want to compare the 3250 with other cells, so i've put up a list of differences for the readers. I've given details of the following mobile comparisions...

              1)3250 v/s 6280
              2)3250 v/s k750i/w800i
              3)3250 v/s 3230

                3250 vs 6280

                If if you're choosing between the 3250 or 6280, it depends on what you're planning to buy the cell for.
                If you're buying it for music, i'd recommend the 3250, bcoz the speaker quality is excellent, and the camera's awesome too.The only disadvantage of this cell is that it has no flash.
                If you're buying a cell for the camera quality, then i'd recommend the 6280, coz its got flash, and its display is better than the 3250.The 6280 does NOT have the standard Real Player, though that doesnt make much of a difference.The speaker quality is definitely louder , coz there are two stereo speakers present, and also the cell is 3G.But, the MAIN point is that the 6280 is NOT a series 60 OS(3250 is a series60 3rd edition OS,which is the latest Symbian OS),which is why i wont recommend it.Within the next year, there are gonna be hundreds of applications available for s60 3rd edition cell phones, including the 3250.

                My opinion - get the 3250.I have it, and believe me, its fantastic, plus within the next year, its gonna be compatible with the best applications...the rest is up to you...

                  3250 vs K750i/w800i

                  The main difference between the w800i and k750i is that the w800i has a music key and comes with a 512 MB card, whereas the k750i comes with a 64 MB card.The speakers are the same, and so is every thing else

                  I must praise sony ericcson for launching the K750i a year earlier than the nokia 3250,coz its got nearly the same features as the 3250.But, let me list out the main
                  differences between the two:

                  1)MAJOR POINT-The 3250 is a series60 3rd edition OS,which is the latest Symbian OS,which is why i recommend it.Within the next year, there are gonna be hundreds of applications available for s60 3rd edition cell phones, including the 3250.

                  2)If you're buying it for music, i'd recommend the 3250, bcoz the speaker quality is excellent, plus its music player is very much similar to the iTunes you'd see in the Motorazr v3i.The 3250 is compatible with many more formats than the K750i,including the latest eAAC+ music format.

                  3)The K750i has a flash,which the 3250 does not, but the image quality is nearly the same.

                  4)The speakers of the 3250 are clearer than the K750i, but I recently tested the two speakers, and I noticed immediately that the speakers of the k750i were a bit louder than the 3250’s , but the music was kinda ‘cracking’.What use is loud music if it isn’t clear?

                  5)The design of the 3250 is unique - no other cell phone in the world has a twist feature.

                  6)The 3250 has the Macromedia Flash Player-you can play flash games and apps.

                  7)THE SCREEN OF THE 3250 IS FAR MORE BIGGER THAN THE K750i.This feature is very important for viewing images and videos on a larger screen.

                  8)The K750i has an infrared port, whereas the 3250 does not.Both the cells support bluetooth.

                  9)I've noticed in the K750i(of two of my friends), that the joystick isnt that very reliable.Sony was never known for its joysticks, as they tend to not function properly in the future.

                  10)The 3250 has 4 extra music keys, which the K750i does not have.

                  11)Both the cells have support for the standard 3.5mm jack for connecting earphones.You can plug in your own set of earphones/headphones in either of them.

                  12)Size-wise, the K750i is much smaller than the 3250, but its screen/display is smaller too.

                    3250 vs 3230

                    I'd highly recommend the 3250, as it has all the features that the 3230 has, and most of
                    these features are way much better than the 3230.

                    The only feature that the 3250 does NOT have(as compared to the 3230) is an infrared port.

                    The other MAJOR features of the 3250 include:

                    1) 2 M.P.camera(3230 has 1.3 M.P.).Both cameras do NOT have a flash.

                    2)An Excellent stereo loudspeaker(3230 has a mono speaker)

                    3)The 3250 is a Symbian 9.1 OS(Series 60 3rd edition) (3230 is a series 60 1st or 2nd edition OS,i'm not sure, but the 3250's OS is more advanced)

                    4)262,000 colour display(3230 has 65,000 colours)

                    5)The clarity of the 3250's camera is much much better than the 3230's camera.

                    6)Also the 3250 comes with a 512 MB microSD card, which would cost around Rs.2500-3000 if bought separately (if bought in India) ( The 3230 comes with a 32MB card or 64MB, i'm not too sure, but definitely not more than that)

                    7)The 3230 is now kind of ‘outdated’ compared to the 3250.The 3230 wont make heads turn today unlike the 3250.

                    I must also tell you that the 3230 is known to have 'distorted' features.Meaning to say that most of its features, including the camera, have bad quality.You can test this for yourself - just try zooming on an object in any friend's 3230, and see the clarity(NOT sharp at all). Also, many series 60 applications DONT work on the 3230. Those same series 60 applications will not work on the 3250 either, as it is a series 60 3rd edition OS, BUT WITHIN THE NEXT YEAR, THERE ARE GONNA BE HUNDREDS OF SOFTWARES AND GAMES COMPATIBLE WITH THE 3250.

                        how long does the battery last when you use the phone normally? i got a samsung one and the battery lasted 2 hours! and on this page it sed it lasted 4 hours!HELPO!

                            To m: it comes wit a 512mb card here where i liv (mena zone)....And its de standard kit so dont expect more. ..1gb card is de max u can use...

                                Only the benfit is we can brows easly through this phone (only browsing no save and all). and its symbian. we can install software. But there is very less amount of software for this phone. Because its symbian v.3.

                                  Dont go for this mobile....Its waste.

                                  I have 3250. But I got a complant with in 9 days. Its display failed while my little cousin's elbow accidently hit the mobile in my pocket.

                                  The display screen breaks. Outside glass has no problem. It didnt fell down too as it was in my pocket. Is it too light to get break on small shocks.

                                  when we pree the outer glass its bend till inner glass. what a cheep manufaturing.

                                  Dont go for this mobile...its waste.... I know about mobile. Because my passion is knowing abt mobile and using.
