Hi people....This is a lovely fone, no question, be using it 4 a month. I usually don't use a phone for more than 2 weeks, but I guess this will last 8 months!!!!.
For those who complaining about d device unlocking itself, use the authomatics lock, but make sure it locks by itself b4 you put it in your pouch.
If u're in Nigeria and on MTN, dial 181 (free) anytime u need ur balance and the system will guide you through 'hearing' what your balance is. I believe a lot of other networks around the world have that option too. PLS GO GET 3250 AND ASK NO MORE QUESTIONS

Saz and others having d same problem:
like with totti, perhaps ur sim card is old, u may want to ask ur provider for a new one. u may also use an eraser (yes, d one with pencils) or any eraser and use it on d gold contacts or surface of ur old sim, like wat u normally do when u erase notes.. i've tried it b4 on some sim cards and it worked!

i hav 3250 for 2.5 months now, so far music keys and d normal keypads are not damaged nor does it show any slight sign of fading.. take note, my hands are kinda easy to sweat.. hehe ;)

Thanx a lot ng...Where I am from 3G network doesn't work.I like the video camera on 6280 and the design of LG KG800 but I think I'll buy the 3250.

with magnets... which is y it opens up the music player etc. and other applications.. n even gets unlocked by itself.it s coz this twist function in 3250 has something to do with magnets..

hey viperkid...you'd posted one link to get the Smart movie application,which plays the .avi format videos,but it turned out to be just the trial version.Could you post a link that has the full version?Thanks a lot...

I dont know much about the LG Kg800, so i cant comment on it. But if you're choosing between the 3250 or 6280, it depends on what you're planning to buy the cell for.
If you're buying it for music, i'd recommend the 3250, bcoz the speaker quality is excellent, and the camera's awesome too.The only disadvantage of this cell is that it has no flash.
If you're buying a cell for the camera quality, then i'd recommend the 6280, coz its got flash, and its display is better than the 3250.The 6280 does NOT have the standard Real Player, though that doesnt make much of a difference.The speaker quality is the same, possibly louder , coz there are two stereo speakers present, and also the cell is 3G.But, the MAIN point is that the 6280 is NOT a series 60 OS(3250 is a series60 3rd edition OS,which is the latest Symbian OS),which is why i wont recommend it.Within the next year, there are gonna be hundreds of applications available for s60 3rd edition cell phones, including the 3250.
My opinion - get the 3250.I have it, and believe me, its fantastic, plus within the next year, its gonna be compatible with the best applications...the rest is up to you...

Hey I have this phone. it is quite all right but whn i put inside my pouch (Nokia Original Pouch) and (even my keypad is locked) close it. suddenly the phone starts playing songs or camera gets on various things happen. but as far as put out of my pouch and into pocket No problrm it works Perfectly. csn some body help me

hey i have heard that the keys on the backside (the music keys) get damaged
and their colour comes off?

i got mine on 12/06/06 so not had it long. i am so happy whith it. knowing it was a symbian S60 OS phone i was worried it would be slow opening and closing applications, like the other S60 nokia's. like N70 6680 etc. but with the Nokia 3250 being a 3rd edition S60 it seems to be alot faster and preforms so much better. if your considering getting a 3250 go for it! tou wont be let down. themost outstanding thing is the quality of the sound! its loud but yet so clear and more natural sounding.

hey is there anyone out ther who can help me! i have jst purchased the 3250 and even when my sim card is in it it stays on offline and when i try 2 chnage the profile it says insert sim card! is there a reason fot this? and what can i do to make it work properly?? thanks xxx

by default, u can find snake on d "My own" folder unless u accidentally or unnoticely deleted or moved it elsewhere. if ur still having problem locating it, u may want to download it here and install it.

there is no way of putting macro mode on 3250's fix focused lens. actually there is, but only experienced fellas can do it..

i can assure u dat 3250's loudspeaker is definitely louder and clearer than SE W800! forget previous nokia phones with tin like sound thru loudspeakers.. =)

u can have around 250 to 320 songs if u encode all ur tracks into eAAC+ format. my 3250 has 235 songs, not all are in eAAC+ format bcoz i've replaced some of it by AAC due to d said cracking sound on some high pitched songs... currently nokia PC suite ver 6.8 rel 22 should be able to convert mp3s into eAAC+ format, but apparently d said version has a problem, u can't convert mp3s into eAAC+.. =( let's juz hope nokia fixes this problem very soon.. ripping tracks from CDs into eAAC+ format does not have any problems though..

Heey, could this stylish phone be classed as a brick to some people? I am considering buying it in pink but as i am a female i couldnt carry it round if it was too big? Let me know - very much appriciated.

i hope this phone will come out with a new nokia 3250i with a flash light n the arrow key bigger abit n a wi-fi..then this phone is the last phone i no need to keep change for more function phone.
