Hi ppl,
I just bought this phone in India, two days back. I must thank everyone in this forum for bringing out all the capabilities and flaws of this model. This has helped me a great deal in selecting this phone.
However one aspect oft his phone which I was not aware of and did not read in this site was regarding the charger. Please note that your ordinary Nokia charger WILL NOT WORK with this phone. They are called the 3.5 mm chargers and these new Nokia models use 2.0 mm pins. So one of the top benefits of Nokia (atleast to me) of the charger being universally available everywhere even if you forget it, is not applicable to this phone. Sadly the charger of mine stoppped working within 2 days of purchase and I had no substitute.
However, I'm extremely satisfied with this phone. I was looking for a convergence device for a long time and I'm pleased to say that 3250 is exactly that. It is more than an video iPod, camera, PDA and mobile. I say more because iPods cannot play the music loud. The external speakers sounds very loud and clear quite unlike a mobile phone.

good phone but poor display.
Display is tottaly invisiible under direct sunlight.....its like phone is switched off because we can not see under sunlight.
3250 has a really bad display to use in outdoors.

Hey,
Can someone tell me how this phone can be switched to offline mode without removing the sim card (as i hv to fly frequently and find it cumbersome to remove the sim every time).

yes, 3250 can show videos (almost full screen in landscape mode) and full screen when viewing images! quality of video, i will rate 3250's around 7.5 and 6630's about 6.5 and N70's like 8.7 to give u an idea. eAAC+ is d best format to save space however, some high pitched songs and other beyond d total harmonic distortion will result into a cracking sound, this is especially true when ripping tracks by mariah carey bcoz apparently sony music over amplifies her voice..

hey viperkid...you'd posted one link to get the Smart movie application,which plays the .avi format videos,but it turned out to be just the trial version.Could you post a link that has the full version?Thanks a lot...

i feel weird...now the network bar are showed n there was no switching off automatically and restarting agian.....

viperkid.....i need your help....I have a problem. my 3250 keeps switching off automatically and restarting again. and it cant read my sim card.there are no network bars on the left.i wonder whats wrong. HOW CAN I FIX THIS PROBLEM AND WHAT THE PROBLEM IS????
