BTW, same as 3250, you can organize the W810i's music accdg to artist, title or playlist. Viperkid mentioned this cant be done on the W810i.

I would have to agree w/ Max. SE W810i sounds, looks and functions way better than 3250. Lets enumerate:

3250 can only make the sound louder, but the quality and clarity is not at par w/ W810i. As for the format, what matters is MP3 and AAC. The other formats are not as widely used. The headphones of Walkman units have better quality.

The swivel controls look like they would not be as tight after a few months. All moving parts in phones are like this. Interior memory of 3250 is only 10 mb while W810i is 20mb. Although both have a memory card. Display-wise, its a no contest. Although both have 2MP cameras, the image in W810i is so much clearer. It also has flash whereas 3250 has none. As for the user interface, it depends on what u are used to. Both are easy to navigate but W810i's software is faster in basic functions like reading text messages. W810i has both bluetooth and IR, 3250 only has bluetooth. W810i is quadband, 3250 is triband.

As far as looks is concerned, I would choose the sleek matte black W810i over the boxy and bulky 3250 anytime.

Anyway, both are nice phones. Its just a matter of preference. :)

Viperkid: Those complaints about software w/ SE w810i can easily be corrected by software upgrades, w/c can be done over the air already. No need to visit service centers. I beg to disagree w/ u re: the speakers sound of Nokia being better. I suggest you check this site out

It is a detailed comparison between music phones, between, moto, se and nokia, looks like nokia is last.

Plus, symbian mobiles are slow. Just opening the inbox message takes a few seconds. Ho-hum....add to this the ugly design of 3250. Looks like a black cigarette pack...The swivel bottom would probably fall off after a few months.

                  maverick:

if im not mistakin, d extension ".rm" is a video type file of Real (the thing is the files u have are really for videos and really not meant for audio) dat's y 3250 recognizes em as video files. i suggest dat u convert ur mp3 or any format to ".ram" type of file by Real Media too, in this way 3250 will treat it as an audio file so u can add it to ur music library. im not that familiar when it comes to RealMedia but i guess that's d best i can suggest... hope it works.. but wait u can try to use d file manager on 3250, locate all ur .rm files and select em all then choose options then move after that find the folder "Digital" under Sounds folder on ur microSD finally move it there..

re balance checking, all we can do now is wait for a better firmware of 3250, and expect dat the new firmware supports the type of checking a balance, we can have it updated by ourselves if im not mistakin over-the-air coz its under S60 3rd Edition!

                    Viperkid

Also, 2day i loaded RM file songs onto my mobile from the data cable and all of them went to the video clips folder in the gallery. After updating the music library as per ur instructions, all the songs from the tracks folder were updated into the music library but not the ones from this video clips folder.

Also if you could temme a site from where i could get some good themes.

                    Thx dude

Yeah by onscreen balance i meant not able to check my balance. My service provider is airtel and earlier i used to get my onscreen bal by dialing *123# which am not able to now with this handset.

W810 has too many software issues its not worth its price! a great camera alone is not what people want in a mobile phone! i've heard too many complaints on the W810 page! and besides loudspeaker on W810 is soft and d sound quality is inferior than 3250 i've tested them head to head and i found out that W810 has no match to 3250! plus w810 can't even recognize WMA and eAAC+ codecs plus all u get in the music folder is a big MESS of files they are not sorted the way like 3250 can (of course u can organize on W810 but its done manually) can W810 categorize by composer, title, album, artist, et al?? plus d ability to search for tracks "ala phonebook" on its music player??? the answer is NO!

To those contemplating on buying this, I suggest you check out Sony Ericsson W810i first, which IMHO is the best music phone right now. Aside from a pretty and responsive (unlike the slowpoke symbian phones)interface, it looks great and pictures are way better than 3250. And it costs just a few dollars more. 3250 will be a flop.

                                    Hey viperkid

The music files that i transfer from the data cable go directly to the tracks folder in the gallery. I want to put these tracks into the music library but am not able to do so, is there any way by which i can do it?

Also am not able to get my onscreen balance on the phone. Kindly address these issues if u can.

                                    Thx
