I own 3250 and bought from authorizes dealer in my country. well guess what.. i love this fone very much! i owned 5 years old 8310 and nokia always make me feel protected :D well music and performance for this fone is great! 98 point for htis fone 2 point when i get 1 gb micosd for it :D

Just to shut all those people that think that SE walkman phones are superior music phones...YES...they got better sound quality but you know what? Who cares if they have the best sound...At the end of the day, the 3250 can outlast the W800 in terms of batt life. I challenge all of u who have an SE phone walkman phone to match the 3250 batt life. I know this for a fact because I have a W800i. So why is batt life important? It's for listening to music!!! Try having a player that plays music for a few hours and a flat batt within a day. Might as well I buy a dedicated player. Also...SE phones support MP3 and AAC...but what matters is that the 3250 supports AAC+. Normal AAC is useless...no diff from MP3. U take AAC+ and u can squeeze double the songs in a 512 card compared to the SE phones and sound just as good. SE phones are way better in somethings but in terms of music usage...sorry man...the 3250 rules...If you are going to argue anything else...camera, build, blah blah...then u barking the wrong tree...because the 3250 excels at music....not the rest.

hey all. its an awsome phone wid loads nd loads of features. i just bought it yesterday nd i c no prob in dis. so those of u thinking of buying dis fone. just go ahead nd buy. it doesn't matter if SE fones r better in sound quality or nt. the quality nd features of dis r also very gud. bt there r alwayz sum pros nd cons of everythng. in anyway ven ur fone is gonna ring den i dont thnk so tat sum1 vil cum 2 u nd say tat dis is nt SE or dey vil b comparin d quality of both cos. at tat tim. they vil only praise dis fone.
well in d end its alwayz a matter of personal prefernce after all.

nokia isn't based on good sound since like forever...the only good thing is the user friendly features and the OS...

Hey guys,I see no point in all of u arguing who's right and who's wrong.
Bottomline is this : This is abt N3250 - USER opinions and reviews.Let this be a place for N3250 users to discuss abt the phone,and a place for those would-be-3250 users decide whther its a gd purchase.
Every phone got its own pros and cons.Pls leave such content in their respective sectors and make this 'forum' a place where ppl exchange tips abt N3250.

Ya i agree with u that Walkman logo is just for mareting from SE.They're just trying to influence people by naming it walkman.To tell u frankly,N-Gage classic even sounded more nice than W800i.Coz i used both the phones.It's just nothing but influence by SE by naming it as Walkman.I also agree that all review sites are praising SE phones.Nokia 3250 sound quality is very good and im going to buy it.

I dont knw who is bragin about sew810 funny cuz 4 me there is competition btw se & nokia..D series60 platform floors se any day..It unfortornate dat basic functions lyk getting a numba 4rm fonebk while sendin txt is impossible..Ur fone may av 500mb memo crd still u hav a limted txt space..U cant play avi wit smartmovie,Read harri potter on ebooks,d music doesnt hav tag 3.I can go on and on..Pls u can compare se wit samsung,of mot pls leave nokia alone

just try da 3250.u wil surely thro away ur w810 &kiss da 3250.
It has big screen.Not lik matches box size as SE 4nes.also SE has da same shape of mobiles frm long tym.Agree me K750,W800,W700,W810 having same shape.
So taste a Nokia !

i don't think there would be much difference if u buy from ebay HK but bare in mind that once 3250 is officially available in ur country those batches will be better coz one, this might have a newer software than those found on ebay HK. i also suggest that u buy from an authorized nokia store (SIM free) or better yet from a Nokia Store directly and not thru ur network provider coz there are times that they alter d software which sometimes affect its performance! my advise is that u wait for a while and buy in ur country, besides its better to have a 1 year warranty!
re video quality, i'd rate it 7.8 out of 10 for 3250 whilst i'll give 9 out 10 for N90 to give u an idea. maximum resolution in 3250s video is 176 x 144 with a bitrate of around 150 kbps! take note, older models like 7610 has a max video resolution of 176 x 144 too but d problem is that the bitrate is only about 60 kbps, see d difference in quality its more than double! : )

hey viperkid i wana ask u a question since u seem so knowledgeable about the nokia 3250 and i reckon you're doing a great job by not misleading potential buyers of the nokia 3250.
the nokia 3250 has not released in australia yet, i want to know that if i buy a nokia 3250 on ebay which is from Hong Kong, would it be any different than the nokia 3250 that will soon release in australia? (besides the chinese strokes on the numerical buttons)

Hi it think rdj tells the truth that Sony Ericssons are stupid in front of Nokia why they are stupid? bcz i had a sony ericsson and in one year that mobile broke and after one year i decided to get a Nokia phone that mobile is still here with me but not broken, is here with me 3 years, i think that Nokia are the most appropreate for all.....

FYI mobile review is biased! u know y?? i've proven that a long time ago when they posted links where u can download N90's video capture thru their site they somewhat degraded the video and made it very unsmooth but in reality N90's video is great! plus let me tell u the review ur trying to tell me, i've read that already and what i can say?? the tested 3250 in there is completely based on UNFINALIZED and OLD firmware of 3250, bcoz the texts on d music player is black and not white like what u can find on newer 3250 sold at authorized nokia stores plus d fact that d equalizers in that tested 3250 is not working 100%, my suggestion to you is just test 3250 in reality coz i know for sure that u don't own a 3250 and really never had a chance to compare it head to head with W810. nokia 3250 is not overrated its just that mobile review is BIASED and they love Sony Ericssons, believe it or NOT! even mobilmania which GSMarena's source and was translated by them tested the UNFINALIZED and OLD firmware and even admitted it, i know that coz the twisting mechanism on their 3250 does not work that's strange coz mine works 100% plus d fact that they said booting 3250 will take u HALF MINUTE, that's ABSURD u know y?? in reality it only takes 15 seconds! see how can they be unfair?? they post reviews based entirely on UNFINALIZED firmware! those were the FACTS u need to know and disregard unfair reviews on the net that will only mislead fellas like u, if u still don't believe me then buy w810 and indulge on great BUGS awaiting just for you. and let me tell u this how can u say W810's bugs can be corrected easily bcoz of FOTA, what's d use of FOTA if SE does not release d updated firmware with no bugs plus FYI symbian 9.1 also supports FOTA too!

for me W810's design is like a toy and its d same new but OLD design of SE models taken from d ancient K700 nice work on removing joystick though. also K750, W800! i know u have not tried 3250 coz its almost as fast as a non symbian OS phone its about 85% faster than N70, N90, 6630 and 6680 in every aspect! please try d product first before saying unfair comments. 3250 and N91 owners will totally disagree with u re opening msg bcoz its quite fast now with symbian 9.1 d problem is u coz ur saying false info! btw, here's wat i said re music management..:

watch ur mouth. i said it can be done manually on W810 as supposed to 3250 that can do d sorting automatically by artist, composer, album (provided u've entered data when encoding) without manually transferring or making a playlist and d searching feature on d music library on 3250! is that clear enough for you??

u also don't have 3250 for sure! u know y? don't u know that 3250's equalizer also affects how d loudspeaker peforms??!?! MP3 and AAC are popular only, what matters most REALLY is how to use CODECS so u can MAXIMIZE precious space! walkman logo is just a mrktg gimmick HS-20 and SE W810's inbox earphone are almost d same in quality, perhaps ur just another victim of GSM arena's review taken from mobilmania's review of d UNFINALIZED firmware... display W810 has a tiny one 3250 has bigger in surface though has less pixels. 3250 has symbian OS it has more flexibility and possibilities than the stasis W810! video capture, W810 is no match to 3250! also u can edit videos on 3250 with real effects and transitions add music clips etc.! those reviews from mobile-review are USELESS bcoz people TRULY knows how 3250 performs in REAL life and not by just HEAR SAY! can W810 play long mp3 files (longer than 15 seconds) when set as ringtone, i guess not! can W810 save more than 1 number in a field under a name (e.g. 3 office nos, 2 home nos) in one name?? answer NO! u can transfer txt msgs on d memory card, can u do that on W810?
