Hi, This is the worst phone i have ever owned. DON'T BUY ONE!!! Constant problems with this phone such as freezing when turning on, saying corrupt data whenever you do anything and has trouble sending sms's. Waste of money.

Thanks for your imput on my post. I have solved the problem. I soft formatted my phone with *#7370# after back up with nokia PC suite. I then copied back my contacts and messages, then re installed ImageEditor.

I think you phone is network locked. In that case you can only use it with the network from which you got the phone. You can unlock i think, but thats work for those tutored in such matters.

Go to official nokia website for instructions on how to upgrade your firmware. But its not so easy and your phone must have power throughout the long process. If you are not having problems with your phone i will not recommend this process.

My Nokia 3250 phone is not recognising some SIM Cards. When I insert 32K SIM and switch on and it opens to Offline mode and when I try to change profile the message is insert SIM Card. What to do to solve this problem.

hi! Im a great fan & a user of this fone.i bought it a year ago.its a cool fone.i just wanna know whats firmware?and how it works?if its the virsion then i have 3.23 virsion.plz inform me all about firmware.where from i can download firmware?

Can someone please help me?
I've had this fone for a little bit more than a year now and its been good. However, I've noticed that the videos after being recorded look pixalated and it shows small boxes. It's clear when recording, but bad when reviewing. THe pictures are clear though.
Also when I try to look up fone numbers in my contacts, it takes a while for me to edit or look at things. Everything else is fast, but not with my contacts. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be. Thanks

Thanks for your reply, but i've already done that. I installed through PC suite just as i did originally, but installation failed after about 15 to 20 minutes of trying to install. I also transfer the .sis file into my memory card and tried installing from there with same result. The thing just wouldn't install again.

about image editor. Go to official nokia website of europe.
Then select 3250 and go to software support, here you can download the image editor software. Then instal it at ur phone.

I see mach beather from nokia...
I dont likeed 3250...its big,bad display,what ever you like from him...first you have to find software,music player with lots of bugs...and generaly unfuctional,bad radio...
The only good thing is that you can twistaround the keyboard when you waith something... :)
I cant belive how from nokia deare to use somach bad display...like 4096 colors :)

Help anyone please!!!
First problem is i have not been able to reinstall back nokia ImageEditor after i formatted my currupted memory card.
Second problem. Can anyone guide me through setting up my phone to retreive my email using POP3. I use gmail. I retreive with my samsung D900 but all efforts at configuring the 3250 has yielded no result.
I will much appreciate your help.

@rahul,
if you use newer version firmware then you can use upto 2gb and if you use older firmware then you can use upto 1gb.
If you want to use 2gb but you yourself use older firmware its better to upgrade your firmware.
about video, you didnt mention what software do you use for video? Is it smart movie or dvd player or simple 3gp formet video!
