I bought this phone 3 months ago and it's great. I had only one one problem with it, its's about alarm clock. I set it up to ring every day at 7:25 AM and sometime it miss to ring. I touhgt that i didnt heard it and make volume to max and put some loud melody for alarm clock and i miss it again. After software (firmware) update (on nokia site from 3.15 to 4.14) phone start to act normaly (there are no missed alarms). So that is solution for this problem. Also i dont like camera... because still picture have a lot of dots if picture is taken in low light condition. If there is lot of light picture is fine.
Sound quality is great.

Hello ppl,
i hv bought N3250 just yesterday evening.
before taking the phone my choice was between n72, n70me, 6233 and w700.
but,among these phones, N3250 is the best, becz, its a 3rd edition s60 phone, its music is superB(Specialy whn playD with any stereo headphon). The cam is 2mega pix and nice! Specialy its a very much stylish phone.
i have the ful black Xpres music 3250 with 1GB micro SD card.
overal its great for the youngsters need music, cam, good speed, edge!
Its a grt pack.

I ASKED BEFORE , how can uninstall themes that i cant find in the application manager , I installed them but I cant uninstall them.........???

hey man i need u to confirm to me an issue i heard is happenin with v4.14. i heard dat there is no viberation or sound alert for msgs!!! but its fine wit calls. im currently usin 2.24 n ive got a serious prob wit msging.... suddenly the phone just says application closed: watchermain thread, and also another msg abt another closed app.... i have no idea wats going on plz help wit this n also abt abv mention issue. shud i upgrade? n can u kindly email me (invincible_zn@yahoo.com) instead ov postin reply here??? thnx a lot

Hi,BadBone! Sorry, I coudn't answer you earlier.If You have Y-browser or some other, go first this path : disk Z:\resource\Fonts\ and you will see the fonts installed on your phone. I have firmware 4.14 so the fonts names are NOSNR60.ttf , NOSSB60.ttf , NOSTSB60.ttf , S60ZDIGI.ttf.Check and remember yours. Then go to your PC-Start\Control panel and open the folder Fonts. You will see all computer fonts. Make the view Detailed instead of Large icons or List to see the real file name, double click the font to check it. When you find what you need press Ctrl+C to copy the font and Ctrl+V to paste the font in the desired folder. Then rename your fonts to the names the phone has (each font is responsible for it's own grafic field in the phone menu)and transfer them by the cable (data transfer mode only!)to the folder "Other" on your phone memory card. I didn't check if it works in different folder. Then restart the phone. Here you are!!! The only inconvenience is that to activate the data transfer mode again you need to restart the phone without the memory card (for the default fonts to load) then insert it back, delete the fonts that you have installed,otherwise you gonna see the message saying that memory card is in use by another application. I think if you try to install the new fonts in the phone memory, then you'll need to format the phone memory to get rid of them. Try and tell me if you succeed. Good luck!

hey guys , I installed some themes but when i wanted to uninstall them i couldnt find them in the application manager , is there some way to uninstall them ? some program maybe?

*nope, u cannot go back to older firmwares using NSU (nokia software updater) even if u do d hard reset

PS:
as of now, im not aware of any virus in this S60 3rd ed platform so i guess runnin one myt slow down d phone a bit..

I already updated from 3.23 to 4.14
all the features are there but only the font in sms is not in bold type. it still the same size of font, but different style. i prefer the old one.
anyone have any software that i can install fonts in dis mobile?

wen d Alon recorder loads, juz hit on "none" then start recording by pressing d red button. re delayed audio in video, if u hav smartmovie and/or divX player installed uninstall them or before doing dat if u adjusted d audio pre-roll settings on smartmovie, place it back to d default setting. i've got 4.14 too but when i record a video on microSD or phone mem d audio syncs correctly accordingly.. about games, as u said some only bcoz some of d games or apps u installed r not really meant for 3250, dey r intended for higher resolution symbian 3rd ed phones thus u get big fonts on 3250's 176 x 208 screen resolution. not all websites state r correct like dey say dis game/app is for 3250 but in reality dat certain game is for N73 or N80 with higher resolution screens (i.e. 320 x 240 and 352 x 416). i think u should not format ur microSD yet, try those first. contacts r stored in d phone memory.

if ur goin to use only earphones dat came in with the box (HS-20), i guess u hav to stick with 3.18 unless u r willing to loose around 8% of d max volume in music player wyl HS-20 is connected. bare in mind dat if u use different earphones d volume wil stay d same and even become a little better than 3.18 in quality when a different earphone is connected. loudspeaker loudness and quality wil not b affected at all when u upd8 to 4.14. if i were u, i'll go and upgrade to 4.14.
here r a list of fixed bugs against previous firmwares prior 4.14:
-white balance effect in camera fixed (except 3.18)
-smoother zoom in video and still modes
-no more delayed audio in videos (against 3.18/21. audio when playing videos now syncs correctly
-new theme "together" wil b installed
-no need for sms accelerator
-backup in mem. card wil work (unlike in 3.18) function in organiser > mem card > backup mem...
-bigger font in msgs plus background image does not get distorted anymore when reading long msgs
plus overall faster performance and reliability! at d end of d day, its ur call whether u want to upd8 it or not. =)
oh yeah, im 100% sure dat 3250 has louder and better quality loudspeaker than W800 and K800. not sure vs W850 though.. don't take my word for it, u can test it head to head by transferring a MP3 from 3250 to W800/K800 and play them with best equalizer settings respectively and u'll know dat 3250 is d clear winner!

but i heard from many of my friends and olso from this web site that 3.18 is way better than 3.24 is that right or the 4.14 is the best witch means( the phone comes only in 3.18 OR 3.24 but should i update it to 4.14 the both of them or only 3.24 ?

3-ask for me, 3.24 but d best i've tried is 4.14

mag try ka maglagay ng ibang microSD, kung hindi p rin mag work, plgay ko nasira ung slot. (u can remove inserted microSD by pushing in with care d card itself by ur fingernail only) pero kung nag work, try mo i-format ung microSD na ayaw gumana sa phone, go to organiser > memory > options > format mem card kung ayaw connect ur 3250 to ur PC using d supplied USB cable and select "data transfer" when asked tapos punta ka sa my computer and look 4ur mem card drive tapos right click mo tapos format. i hope ma solve problem mo after doing those, if not, i guess u hav to bring sa authorized repair center like brightpoint sa alimall....
