Lumia was the idea of introducing Microsoft Windows mobile phones into the market. They used Nokia simply because it was the best brand to launch their idea. If you still remember they gradually removed Nokia in Lumia phones replaced with Microsoft.

Its a pity its not 4G or even 3G, 2G equals no market in Australia as they have fazed out their 2G network

This is NOT the 3310 I loved using from 2001-2003. Nokia blew this classic remake like Hollywood usually blows modern remakes. Robocop or Total Recall, anyone? Nokia is better off reviving the N95, N82, N8, and N9. Very disappointed by ruining a classic like this is George Lucas' Star Wars: Special Editions.

Just understand guys it's a feature phone....Don't expect 3g 5mp camera extra ram for what.....??? There is a camera it's a good thing..... Upgraded... Nokia already told monochrome display s they stopped......I dreamed b4 they gonna release black n white phone..... Black n white camera,picture message and composer app.

Very nice phone..... Only design and button look similar to original.....It's nice back-up phone... Whatever Nokia make design it's create history....samsung design look always same with one button.....nothing new InDesign.I wish good luck whoever commenting negative (probably Samsung fans) to Nokia .... Nokia is back.... I hope they gonna release one flagship

I searched everywhere for opinions in internet and most of people liked
the revamped 3310 and that's good.
You know something else dude?
Since it includes a new version of snake game & it can run some apps
it is good basic phone judging by the standards of feature phones..
It's okay for me.
My respect to GsmArena for the ''good work'' they have done today.

this is just a feature phone and people are demanding cameras and specs to be a low-range smartphone, this is why aliens don't visit this perfectionist planet of ours, demanding people with less knowledge of the functionality of what they are asking for from a phone regardless of what brand it is from
IMO, the revival of the once legendary 3310 was getting a lot of attention, however, HMD failed a bit in its design, specs-wise and price is on-point, but not the exterior design.
and by the way, JACK is fudging alive!! LOL

All fellows of this community be aware because there are some fans
from other brands here that posts negative comments.
You ;ll find them easily...
It's good to have different opinions and we must respect them but
there are some guys here (especially Samsung fans) that they are calling
themselves teachers,engineers etc.and repeatedly posts comments always against Nokia phones
even if Nokia phones are very good.
Personally i never entered to other brands page to give negative and fake reviews
because i believe that it isn't fair and right...
I liked a lot the new 3310!

Even though it is supposed to be the 3310's descendant I really think it should have wi-fi because I mean let's all be real here it would be pretty cool to "surf" the web and do everything you do on a regular basis on your 3310. They could of done better on waterproofing and I would of probably gone for a unibody for taking drops better continuing the legacy. About the design, I dislike it and agree with the person who said it looks like a 5$ toy and in my opinion it does look slightly childish but it's we got from Nokia and in the end of the story it does follow the 3310's lines.

The idea of concept phones by Nokia/Hmd is great!
I suggest that GsmArena should make a poll and give people
the power to decide what phone they want to be revamped by Nokia after
the legendary 3310.
People will send a clear message to Nokia telling them what they prefer.
The new 3310 is clearly based in Nokia 222 & the old 3310.
Similarities with 222:
a.2 mp camera
b.screen size 2.4 inches
c.same price
d.internal memory 16mb etc.
Similarities with old 3310:
Design & generally having the ''philosophy'' of this phone.
I am conveiced that Nokia/Hmd did their best.
This is a must buy for travellers because of great battery.
I find also very important that the new 3310 can run apps.
The biggest objection is that we haven't seen a 3G feature phone with traditional
keyboard for a long time.
Design is cute and this phone is an eye catching device because it comes in many colours & we can choose what we like!
Bring it fast Nokia!

I thought they wil revive the classic 3310. The same unit they made decades ago. I'll preffer to buy the original one just for collection coz its the epitome of cellular phone. This 3310 (2017) has no appeal at all. Better bring back the original one

Already obsolete here in Australia. Telstra closed their GSM network last year, Optus (April) and Vodafone (September) to follow. I hope they do a 3G/4G model.
