I just purchased this phone while on vacation. It comes with software version 7.23. When I bought this phone the dealer indicated that it was made in Hungary and not in China like some other Nokias. This was noted on the box as well. I tried it out when I got back to my hotel and it had more bells and whistles than any mobile phone in North America, (other than of course blackberrys, iPhones and PDAs). The screen looked great, it sounded good and I like the fact that it prints out your location on the screen based on the cell site you are connected to. I downloaded the phonetools from Nokia USA and everything worked flawlessly. The bluetooth worked without flaws, and I found out that it even comes with a 512 MB micro SD card inside as well, which fills up as you take more and more pictures.
One feature I would like to see improved on is an instantaneous keyboard lock when the keypad is slid closed. The only ability to auto-lock the phone is with a timer which must be set at a minimum of 5 seconds.
For the device I paid about 110 Euros which I think is a very good price. Overall, I'm super happy with the device and give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. I really don't think you can go wrong with this phone. It's simple, elegant, thin, light (half the weight of the 6600i) and comes in a variety of colours. Well worth the cost.

Vyankatrao, 30 Sep 2009I reside in small village . is this phone capable of catchi... morei m also a poor villager like u, i bought this cell . the only problem is that its EM waves affects my cows n bullocks. 2 of my bullocks died b'coz of it n 4 cows ran away b'coz of its ring tone. but overall its good

Its data speed is uncomparable.

whwnever i insert the data cable and select data storage as my USB port..it says "memory card is in use by another application"...and then nothing happens..i have updated my software in nokia care for couple of times..but of no use..wat to do..plz suggst

how can i make the mobile unlocked or locked witout move the slide....in E66 i press right selection key then press left selection key....what about 3600..............plz answer

've been using this since 11 mnths.Only problem in this is,frequently mobile got hanged while taking photos...
Sometime automatically getting switched off also.
